I normally don’t leave bad reviews, but this one deserves it. We were all excited to go here after reviewing the menu online and reading other positive reviews. The service was absolutely horrendous. No attempts were made to refill drinks, we waited 35 minutes for our order to be taken and another 40 minutes for it to be brought to the table. The hot chocolate was cold, and I mean COLD and tasted like a generic powdered version. The “bay shrimp” looked like artificial shrimp you may see on a discount buffet and tasted like it too. The food was bland and extremely small portions. No one ever came to check and see if everything was ok or not. Four 4 people and one infant it came to $99 before tip. We will never be back.

A little small (likely packed in the summer) but good food, people and atmosphere.

Great breakfast spot! I loved the vegan option of breakfast potatoes and vegetables and the coffee was good. Friendly service too! Would recommend and will go again.

Such a wonderful experience here! We got there right at 8, which I would highly suggest because the place fills up very quickly.
We read the reviews and were not disappointed at all. To start, it’s very cute inside. It’s small with a warm fireplace going as you walk in the door.
As far as customer service goes, it was amazing! Michelle was our waitress. She was so attentive and sweet. I would come back just to have her again!
I ordered the pancake breakfast with scrambled eggs and sausage. The pancakes were incredibly tasty and cooked perfectly. The sweet taste of the buttermilk in the pancakes pairs perfectly with the maple syrup. The scrambled eggs were fluffy and delicious. The sausage links were thick and juicy!
I left with a sweet goodbye from the staff at the door and a full belly.
I will definitely recommend this place and I will come back next time I am in town 😊.

This is no Denny’s! Absolutely weightless fluffy omelette, the best I have ever had at a restaurant. Home fried potatoes to die for. And super fluffy yet incredibly thick pancakes!

Wonderful and cozy little restaurant with a great menu and friendly staff. We waited for 30 minutes to get seated, which gave us time to walk on the beach. The food was excellent and we have added this restaurant to our “must visit again” list. I’ve been jonesin for their Oregon berry pancakes ever since my wife and I ate there last week! Not cheap, but well worth it!

The food was all excellent, as was the service. We were here during the off season so it wasn't crowded. Definitely resort town prices, but unlike most resort town restaurants the food was actually worth it. Next time I'm in Seaside I will certainly be back.

Short story: go here, you won't regret it! Food was excellent. Just get there early for breakfast!
Long story: Best kept secret of seaside (and worth the early morning walk/drive!). Fully convinced that if this place opened a location on the main strip that was 5x the size, they would still be packed every morning. We went at about 8:15 on a Saturday morning and we saw people waiting to get in! So be there early if you want a seat quickly! It's a small place but the service was good and the food was excellent. I don't even like French toast, but there's was mind blowing. It was a perfectly sized portion (not obnoxiously large) and I love that they serve real maple syrup with it. The hot tea I ordered was no cheap tea bag brand, it was the good loose leaf brand. I also took the servers recommendation and got the chilaquiles, and it was excellent. My husbands latte did taste off, but I think that's because they made it with an almond milk or something (I had specified whole milk, maybe the waiter misheard me).
We will definitely be back to try out lunch, but I honestly believe this place will become a staple for our seaside trips. Nonni's is another excellent restaurant here, if you need a dinner recommendation!
