A beautiful and nicely located bar and coffee shop. A great place to meet friends, a date, or adult family at. Would not recommend coming here for any coffee or food items on their menu though. A poorly designed and less than passionate prepared menu at inflated value.

The food was good and staff was friendly, but going on a Saturday night the ambience did not match the theme. The music was loud and angry; we had trouble hearing each other talk. Perhaps other times it is quieter and more thought-provoking?

Coffee was great. Service nice and a wonderful place to sit for a visit. Also the decor is unusual and worth a cup of Jo -especially on a cold day like the day we were there.

Charcuterie without the meat. Being vegetarian is giving us extra loads of delicious cheese!

Had dinner with my niece làst night. We ordered appetizer and drinks - cheese fondue (not very thick, very runny) with apple slices (some of which had bruises and dark spots), prosciutto and toast. The wait for the drinks was long - we got through most of the appetizer before they came. No apology offered until we commented on it. Main course also took a long time, and only one portion of each of our choices was hot. My scallops were on the verge of being overdone. The pureed squash was too spicy for me - I took one bite only (the menu did not indicate that it would be spicy).
We were told they were short staffed in the bar and the kitchen - after the fact. There weren't that many customers and we felt ignored - another waitress actually came to verify our orders!
All in all - not a good experience!

Great drinks and food. Service was good. Atmosphere was relaxed and chill.

A community congregating point. Love it. Staff is always nice. Their bartender (a cross between the "My Name is Earl" lead and Ron Swanson) is fantastic. Food could be a tad on the more interesting side - and I mean this with nothing but success in mind; the avocado toast - grill the bread and/or offer a multi grain variant (also make the bread smaller than what it currently is);, offer a lovely continental breakfast with a great croissant that crumbles like it just came out of the oven (the products are out there - and its also an item you can dunk in your cappuccino foam); offer a leek and Gruyere quiche; instead of boring hummus - introduce people to babaganoosh!!! Make your butter for your steak and frites a class A "cafe de Paris" butter, you'll thank me later. Offer fantastic loose leaf tea's with an emphasis on the presentation (pyrex tea pot, tea sieve, various sugar option, candle to keep the tea hot and an appropriate pastry to accompany the tea. And you are so close to so many wonderful wineries in the Willamette Valley AVA's, offer a rotating sample of some of the wineries that come off of the local hillside - Bethel Heights, Willamette Valley Vineyard, Bryn Mawr, Van Duzer, Bjornson, Lingua Franca, etc. They are in your backyard. Oh, and summer/local berries are here. What better way to enjoy than a late night "sabayon" poured over some fresh berries and enjoyed with a digestive from your bar? Or better, a lemon-tiramisu with a chilled limoncello to reward yourself. I wish you so much success and hope some of these suggestions help you to increase the traffic and business you and your team so desire and can do. Much continued success. Salem needs a great place like Archive!!

Beautiful interior, and cozy setting for an impromptu business meeting or a casual cup of coffee with a friend. The house coffee was slightly bitter, but overall it was a great experience!

Not as awesome as it used to be.
Drinks so-so tasting and not worth the cost. Service is not as personal as it used to be......Yes. I understand everyone is short staffed and there are longer waits now, but it would be nice to be treated with respect and kindness.
Still an awesome place and cool atmosphere.

I went here to pick up an order barely any people were in and the workers were sitting around, drinking at the bar section and for almost five minutes they were making eye contact with me and haven’t asked to help so I had to get their attention making it obvious then needed to be that I needed an order. I just got the order through my app and when I arrived they threw it away and had to remake it??! That’s what they said. My option it’s a cute place but terrible service.
