The biggest coffee shop I've been to, with handmade crafts, a great place for a coffee or a meet-up

Always super friendly staff. Yummy drinks. Coffee is great and organic. My favorite drink is their rose matcha. Sandwiches are simple and good, probably the best is the grilled cheese and add on bacon or tomato or both! Great vibe.. plenty of room to hang out with a friend or study date. Grab a table and a puzzle ( they have a bunch) and stay for a few hours.

Good vibe. Saw lots of professionals working, having meetings and even interviewing. I did not try the coffee but the iced teas, there are three (green, black and herbal) they brew, where very good.

Convenient and friendly for those in the Brooklyn area. However, their coffee drinks are mediocre, having tried different drinks and given them multiple chances over the years. Their rose latte actually tastes like soap (ended up tossing it out), do not recommend that one especially.

We gotta stop pretending these places aren’t mid just because they put some effort into the decor

Ok coffee, made my order incorrectly. Stale bagel sandwiches

An inviting and surprisingly cozy spot on dark days. Full of delightful art for sale in addition to hearty sandwiches and drinks 😊 and GF bread for breakfast sandwiches if you need! Hooray!

Great coffee and service, low-key atmosphere, and delicious snacks!

Tasty pesto club sandwich and the caramel whimsy latte had a nice rich caramel flavor.

I feel so fortunate to have this as my neighborhood coffee shop/roastery. It’s a beautiful, bright space filled with plants & the smell of fresh coffee and made to order sandwiches. I mostly come here to get my 1lb. bean jar refilled, but it’s also a great place to study, grab a gift, or enjoy a steaming cup of joy after a cool morning run.

My new favorite coffee spot in pdx! I had their coffee at a restaurant in town and loved it, so had to come by their location. Yes, they are a little pricey (honestly, not by much though). But based on the "Now Hiring" sign posted in the cafe, it's clear that they are investing a lot in not only paying a competitve salary, but also offering health benefits, PTO, and other perks to their employees. Which is exactly the kind of thing I would pay extra for 😍 The coffee was incredibly flavorful and well extracted, although the milk was steamed more "macro" than "micro" foam (just personal preference though). The pastries were a work of art, and the salted herbed bagel was TO DIE FOR🤤-- although I would have liked a more generous helping of vegan cream cheese for the price (again, just personal preference). There are so many amazing, local treasures which I happily perused to find some gifts for family. Lastly, the service was SO GOOD!!! Everyone was very kind, helpful, friendly, and seemed happy to be there. I love it when people like their job-- life's too short to hate what you do, ya know? It says a lot about how the business is run and what their priorities are when their employees are happy. All in all, I will be back, wish I lived closer so I could come everday, and will absolutely recommend to others 🙏🙏 Thank you Rose City Coffee!!
