Keeper Coffee Co

Amazing coffee, amazing baked goods and even more amazing people. The warm feel of this new coffee spot makes you feel at home the second you walk in. Grab an espresso drink or a drip coffee and enjoy shopping around the store that shares the space with Keeper. I can't recommend Keeper coffee enough, do yourself a favor and stop in for a one of a kind experience.

If only they didn’t call the cops on every houseless person that sits on their stoop. I live across the street and have seen Keeper call the cops on people four times. There are SO MANY alternatives than calling the cops including talking to the person and treating them like a human. Don’t act like you’re not part of the problem.

Cafe Zamora, a lovely Guatemalan owned cafe down the street, and Coffee Beer care about their neighbors! Try them instead!

Update (Sep 2021): During a trip to Portland I visited Keeper's new location in Woodstock and I have to say this edition is even better! The space is quaint and cozy, perfect for staying indoor on a chilly or rainy day. Coffee is still great, house made pastries still look delicious; the best part, the staff is still so friendly and joyful. This place is definitely a keeper! I look forward to coming back next time when I'm in town.

Original (Dec 2020): This is an overdue review for my visit of Keeper Coffee's previous location in the East Waterfront areas. I like their slightly quaint decor and was welcomed by very friendly staff. I had a latte and tried their pumpkin cake. I spent an hour sitting outside reading and enjoying the delicious afternoon treats. I'm sure their new location is equally, if not more, charming and lovely.
