Coffee was delicious here, I loved the honey lavender specialty drink. It did drink more like a latte than a cappuccino but it was very good, nonetheless. A happy and energetic vibe here makes this a great place to start your day!

I passed by Blue Kangaroo by chance and thought their patio/parklet in the shade looks very nice so I sat down to get my overdue morning coffee. Their service is friendly and coffee is quite decent too. It looks like they roast their own beans in house, an independent coffee shop is always pretty cool.

Seems to be understaffed. Came on a Sunday morning and they only had 2 staff members working, one taking orders the other as a barista. I first had to wait 15 minutes to order, then another 20 for my drinks. When my drinks were done they accidentally made one of them incorrect so I had to wait even longer for it to be remade. The barista seemed annoyed rather than apologetic that they messed up. Will go elsewhere for faster and better service as 35+ minutes is crazy for 2 lattes.

The woman with the tattoos is so rude... she messed up the order and gave me a hot drink when i asked for iced. When I asked for it to be corrected she said "no" and walked away. I said ok thanks then the guy working helped me before I walked out and was really nice. This isn't even the first time she has been rude.

I've been coming to Blue Kangaroo since it first opened!

It's always a good time being there!

Great atmosphere, best coffee all around with lots of choices and customizations and also amazing customer service.

100/5 stars!

I recommend Blue Kangaroo to all my friends and always pick here when I'm too lazy to brew my own coffee!

Great coffee, great staff, great atmosphere. We get our whole beans here and they are always fresh and well roasted. The drinks are also well made and tasty.

I had a double shot Cubano. It was pretty good, a little acidic.
It was busy, early Saturday afternoon. Which is normal for a place at that time, but the tables were left dirty, and it's pretty cramped.

I'm sure it's great for the people who want a coffee place that is kid friendly. But it's not a great place to get work done if you're looking for that kind of atmosphere.

Best mocha I've had in months. That hint of cinnamon that's not overwhelming - thank you.

Trendy atmosphere with a friendly neighborhood feel. My toddler loved the kids hot chocolate. Coffee is great too! ☕👍

My husband and I walk from our Airbnb to this neighborhood coffee shop every morning. Sellwood is a great way to experience Portland. This coffee shop is a great beginning to each day. I order the Portland Breakfast tea with steamed oat milk.
