Friends, Espresso & More
Review of Friends, Espresso & More
Friends, Espresso & More is a cozy coffee stand located at 695 John Long Rd in Oakland, Oregon. This local gem offers a variety of specialty espresso and coffee drinks, along with smoothies and bagels for a quick bite to eat. Whether you're a coffee connoisseur or just looking for a caffeine fix, this place has got you covered.
The standout feature of Friends, Espresso & More is the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Customers have praised the owner, Michelle, for her warm greetings and excellent customer service. She goes the extra mile to make sure your coffee is made just the way you like it. The personal touch and attention to detail make this coffee stand a favorite among locals.
Speaking of coffee, the quality here is top-notch. While some customers have described it as "the best coffee ever," others have found it to be "good" or "strong." It seems to come down to personal preference. If you're a fan of lattes, mochas, or macchiatos, you won't be disappointed. They also offer iced options for those warmer days.
One unique feature that sets Friends, Espresso & More apart is their pupciano, a special treat for furry friends. This thoughtful gesture has been appreciated by dog owners who frequent the coffee stand.
While the majority of reviews are positive, there have been a few negative experiences. Some customers have mentioned that the coffee was not to their liking or that the prices were higher compared to other places. However, these instances seem to be the exception rather than the norm.
If you're in the Oakland area and in need of a caffeine boost or a quick snack, Friends, Espresso & More is definitely worth a visit. The friendly service, quality coffee, and charming atmosphere make it a delightful spot to start your day or take a break.

I love small businesses. They have that extra little touch. If you could see the sticker on the lid with a red heart sign (the photo is attached to the review), it smells great. Aromatherapy is my weakness. I ordered 3 drinks within 40 minutes (since my semi's truck battery shut down. I had been waiting for the roadside service and discovered places around the truck stop and found friends, espresso, and more). The first drink was Latte (I regret not mentioning her to add some caramel), black forest, and snickers. I preferred snickers over the rest. Next stop, highly likely, will be milkyway👊👊👊

So I got a caramel latte, very good! The lady working was nice and quick. Loved the sign welcoming law enforcement to the stand. Also the hours might be wrong. Came on a Monday and it was open. Thanks for great coffee! #supportlocal

My boyfriend wanted dutch Bros but I don't like spending $6 on a coffee, I think it's silly. So we tried this place and it has the same prices, if not higher for some other things. I got a 24oz peppermint mocha and the ice is all crunchy and barely goes through the straw. It tastes like pure espresso without any flavoring or milk, which wouldn't be terrible if the drink was even drinkable. I have to use a spoon, but I'm just tossing it at this point. Plus it took 15 mins to get our drinks with no one in line. Not worth it. Lady was pretty nice though and that's why I'm giving any stars.

Stopped to get fuel across street at Pilot. Certainly didn’t want their coffee. As I was leaving I noticed this cute little building with ESPRESSO across it. As a coffee buff it caught my attention, so I walked on over. I was greeted warmly by Michelle the owner. I ordered my usual “ a breve” and I would have to say it very well might be the best damn breve I’ve ever had. If you want a great cup of coffee and a friendly greeting , stop by this place. You will leave happy!!

Hi! I've been to many coffee shops and I went for the first time and met a lovely lady named Michelle. Michelle made my coffee and new exactly 💯 how I like it! I have never had a coffee so good! As I spent time chatting with Michelle she told me how she wasn't getting the bissness she needed to keep her place open. She said that its hard to see her coffee shop. The virus allows her to stay open but seeing her coffee shop is difficult due to the truck at truck stop blocks her. Please I ask our community to keep her up and running. Help support our community during this pandemic. Michelle is worth helping her to stay open. Michelle's heart is golden! Want good coffee ☕? Shes the coffee Queen. You will love the coffee and Michelle as well. She is the real deal folks!

Worst coffee ever!! Tasted like it was 2 days old and overpriced

Great coffee. I got the iced macchiato, and my boyfriend got a mocha. He's really picky because what he really wants is caffeinated hot chocolate rather than coffee, but he liked it lol.

If you’re passing thru the Rice Hill area I’d advise you keep on going. Not worth the stop.
