When you find yourself on SE McLoughlin Blvd and your espresso alarm sounds, look for "The Local Coffee Company" at 13515 SE McLoughlin. If you've been around for some years, they are in front of the Bomber Restaurant (unfortunately, the plane is gone). The Coffee Company is owned by Vanessa who is usually smiling and friendly. She cares about your order and also available to simply chat if there's time. You will find friendly, efficient service from any of her baristas. Oh, make sure you ask for the punch card and get every tenth drink FREE!

I love this place! It's close to home, and everything I have had there has been delicious. The remodel they did recently looks great, too. Staff is friendly, and they remember what my "usual" is. Skip Starbucks and support the locals at The Local!

Easily the most attractive roadside coffee house around. Staff is wonderful and drinks to die for. Try the cinnamon roll or lucky charm (tiny marshmallows included) lattes. Thank me later.

I tried to visit this morning at 9:45am. Sign said open...no one ever came to window. I was honestly concerned until I saw others had the same experience. A “be back in...” sign would be nice. I really do want to try their coffee.

I signed up for an event this company was hosting. Paid and they cancelled the event. Said they would refund me me in a couple weeks. Here we are months later no refund, no communication. Very unprofessional, untrustworthy and thieves. Do not recommend at all!!
