Manzanita Coffee Co.

We visit Manzanita a couple times a year, and we love this place for our morning coffee plus a good bakery treat for the kids. They also have ice cream to grab while put on your afternoon stroll. They've adapted to the covid distancing rules well, and it feels safe and easy to go in, order, get your drink/food, and walk back out to enjoy. Friendly and efficient, with local flair. Definitely check it out when you're in town.

Loved that little coffee shop. My latte was good, but the coffee crumble cake was very good - even tough it was 1 day old it was very moist! Tge girls!working there were super friendly as well.

Great customer service just be aware their hours have changed since last year, their ice cream is amazing.

The friendly workers at Manzanita Coffee will make your coffee experience smooth and scrumptious. I like medium roast coffee and theirs fits the bill. I recommend trying their marionberry scone which is not too sweet and has a good berry to pastry ratio.

The espresso tastes good, but it’s either super low dosage or decaf.

I had espresso two days in a row and had to stop somewhere else for a second coffee both days. Even after a triple shot.

Horrible experience. I hope the manager/owner sees this and recognizes their staff needs to learn what customer service is! I went in asking for a caramel macchiato, and first she replies a Starbucks one or the real thing. Honey I worked at Starbucks for almost 10 years, they’re 2 different things. An espresso macciato is foam with espresso shots, a caramel macciato is vanilla syrup, steamed milk (and then like an espresso macciato) shots on top of the foam with a cross hatch of caramel sauce. I replied I wanted a caramel macciato like the Starbucks drink and she tried to correct my order and replied that I wanted a caramel latte. It’s not the fact that the syrup wasn’t there, or that my drink wasn’t offered, it was the horrendous way this girl tried to correct me as though I didn’t know what I was talking about, and then tried to correct me. I’m all for supporting local, but not at the cost of being corrected by someone who is rudely wrong. Please teach your staff some respect. Caramel macchiatos are sold many places, and just because you don’t have them doesn’t make them not real.

Always friendly, a favorite with both locals and visitors alike. The coffee has gotten better every year since my family moved here. They have free dog treats by the door on the way out and a dog water bowl. Lots of seating on the benches outside while you and your dog share a snack. There is also some seating inside, but Manzanita is a town to hang out with your dog.

Perhaps most attractive, this highly organized venue provides a prompt alternative to the notoriously crawling Bread and Ocean. Lovely as the latter may be, its line moves at roughly half the pace. 🐌

We had walked out of manzanita news and espresso after waiting 30 minutes when they weren't busy and were never served and decided to try Manzanita Coffee Co instead. They were so busy when we got there and there was a long line, but within 5 minutes we had our freshly baked croissant breakfast sandwiches and coffee in hand. Was really tasty food and coffee. Thank you for a good experience! They also don't demand a tip on their credit card receipts which was refreshing!
