Had one of the best Hot Chocolates here! Also got to learn the history of why this is called the "Blue Banana." I love a good sense of humor, and a name like this means it is not easily forgotten.
To the baristas I talked to, I made it over the switchback curves on my way to Lewiston. You can tell your Native American friend that he doesn't have to look for me over the side of the road.

Lonstine, Oregon is no booming metropolis but they have the most quaint little coffee shop ever, the Blue Banana.
Very friendly barista that offered info on the best hiking trails in the area and makes an excellent mixed berries smoothie.
Worth the stop for a drink, info and pics of the unique decor.

Very busy local coffee shop with walk in and drive thru service. Great quirky decor. Coffee was great but not impressed with the pastries. Dry prepackaged items like you would buy in a vending machine. Would be great to see them carry a local bakeries items or something of better quality. I ended up throwing my pastry item away.

My daughter and I stopped by to get a hot chocolate smoothie, and I a coffee. The coffee was absolutely the best coffee I have personally had in a long time😍 It's also the cutest little coffee shop around! Thanks for the fun little stop!

Super cool spot! Incredibly sweet owner who makes delicious coffee (you gotta get some of the candied nuts too, both the cashews and pecans are fantastic). We found Blue Banana on Google Maps when we woke up about 40 miles away and waited all morning to get a coffee there - it was definitely the right choice. Support your local businesses! This one is a gem.

Great coffee and plenty of tasty treats and nuts to go with them. We stopped here after camping down the road along the Lostine River. I was happy to find a gem like this in such an out-of-the-way place.
