Absolutely LOVE this place! What a breath of fresh air after traveling for hours. The atmosphere is friendly as it gets. The coffees are perfect and the Huckleberry ice cream is the stuff of happy dreams.

I spent a few weeks working in Jordan Valley and Rockhouse became a regular stop in the mornings. The people are very friendly, and the coffee is excellent, better than a major chain I now visit. The shop is also interesting. Definitely check this place out if you're ever in the area.

Thank god this place exist where it does. Staff is wonderful and the shop itself is very cozy and cute. I stop and have stopped by this place often and even my kiddos love it. They have decent coffee and cool little random things to buy.
The bathroom has a nice touch too.

Took a drive a couple weekends ago with our family out to Jordan Valley and stopped in here for Coffee and Ice Cream. The service was tops, the barista was very friendly and the shop very unique. Thanks for the fun experience!

Always used to stop and get a coffee. Every time try just to start a conversation just to kill time before I hit the road again. They are always rude. It goes also for JV cafe. Stopped and ate their along time ago and the chili burger tasted terrible. I will stop just too check my vehicle out and get right back in and keep driving. The same with McDermot, NV Starting to shy away from these clickish towns. If you want a great place to eat and cheap, stop in at Rome. They have some real home cooked meals.

Am a local so I know the place well. Always friendly, always clean. A little pricey, but what coffee place isn't! Run by local people. Wonderful to have a coffee and ice cream joint out here in the sticks! No cell phone coverage? And that's bad? Connect! Have a conversation!

There is absolutely no reason this establishment should be this good. We found it driving from Reno to Boise after some 200 miles of barren Oregon public land with not so much as one bar of cellphone service let alone services. Our Garmin GPS was near 10-miles off on the location, so watch for their sign on the right if you're going North. The town is named ‘Jordan Valley.’ The coffee was excellent as was a wide array of foodstuffs and a smattering of souvenirs – nice souvenirs, not the stuff you see these days. Indoor and outdoor (covered) seating. Clean bathrooms. A most inviting oasis; A very needed oasis.

Fantastic place! Got an espresso milkshake that was perfectly smooth and creamy, and a huckleberry lemonade that was sweet and tart. Lovely! Cozy atmosphere, sweet and welcoming employees :)
