Dog River Coffee

I come here every Wednesday. Friendly staff, awesome selection, always busy but not too crowded. Kid friendly atmosphere. Terrific mixed berry smoothie!

Worst . drink . ever

All I wanted was a hot chocolate. It's a simple drink! Dog River Coffee, however, has decided to mix in various herbs and spices into their "Hot Chocolate" while still calling it "hot chocolate." I almost puked when I started drinking that hot mess. Unfortunately we were on the road at that point, so I didn't go back to throw it on the counter and tell them how horrid this drink was. Possibly the most disgusting non-medicinal drink I have ever tasted.

I would strongly recommend avoiding this place. If they can't be trusted to mix hot milk and chocolate syrup together, you probably shouldn't trust them to make anything more complicated. In fact, I'm a bit surprised that they manage to open the locks every single morning. Maybe they trained for that - and it doesn't invlove taste buds?

Excellent service and coffee, but the main attraction is the atmosphere. Dog River is perfect for getting some work done on a laptop, meeting an old friend over coffee, and meeting new ones.

Amazing coffee, hot chocolate and cookies for the kids, super friendly service. The coffee alone was worth the visit, but the service really sold me. Great atmosphere.

Really good coffee had a soy latte there. Awesome atmosphere and definitely feels like a great Hood River coffee shop to visit regularly.

This is a great place to stop for a cup of coffee while you're checking out the shops downtown. Dog River has always been supportive of the local schools, and the coffee and workers and owners are all awesome.

Came here as a tourist, and had a great coffee served by really friendly people. It's pretty easy to find cookie-cutter coffee shops and restaurants in high-tourist areas, but this shop seemed really unique and fun.

A very cozy place with fre Wi-Fi and great. atmosphere.

Employees were extremely nice. I’m not a local just visiting and they treated me like I was a local. Not the best latte, that’s why I gave them a three star in addition to my small cup of coffee cost me $5!!!
