Good coffee and very friendly staff.

Cozy, super friendly staff and good music. The art is fresh and fun. Great place to hang for a bit or get some work done. I like that the ice cubes in the iced coffee are actually coffee so your drink never gets watered down.

Dog River is not only a coffee shop. It is something like Hood River’s town square. It is one of the key places where people come to build community, work, let their kids loose in the indoor playground while parents chat. It is even the place where local politicians come to hear constituents’ grievances. On top of that, and in spite of my unsophisticated coffee palate, I must agree with the most reputed connoisseurs in recognizing Dog River's as the best coffee in town. Certainly, one of the rare ones not oversaturated in sugar.

Something about the configuration of the space draws people. Perhaps because it is open and the full front windows keep the entire ground floor illuminated, or maybe the subtle but unpretentious decoration that invites people to be within and not just look inside. I don’t know exactly, but you will sense it once you are inside.

I would say Dog River will give you the best indoor sample of what Hood River is all about. Go to Dog River.

Didn't even get anything because it would've been $5 for a 6oz drink. That's insanity, especially because they don't even roast their own beans, it's Stumptown. The lady taking orders was really not polite at all either. She didn't look up when we walked up and couldn't even turn on a customer service smile/nice voice. I didn't feel welcomed at all. Only giving 2 stars because my friend said her cold brew was alright haha. Definitely won't be visiting here when we come back out to Hood River.

My favorite spot to get caffeinated in HR; seldom a wait, great pulls & lots of great treats in the pastry case. Try one of their house made protein bars; great for refueling post trail, board or paddle. See you soon :)

This is my favorite coffee in Hood River! They make it strong though so I always need extra room for cream. I also love the breakfast burrito, only $5 and filling w egg cheese potato & veggie sausage

What a wonderful staff that works here! They are so polite, even asking how my day was and having a little conversation. And oh my goodness the Chai I got was delicious! I will definitely return here again!

Locals love it here. Hip comfortable place to hook into to devices and enjoy excellent coffee. Hang out with friends. Nice selection of baked goods and small type hot food bites.

Great coffee. Prices are a little high, but worth it. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. Their covid awareness is remarkable. Definitely recommend them.
