Quick off I-5 (3 minutes). Delicious bakery options, sweet and savory they have you covered. When they offer to warm up your pastries, do it. The meat and cheese come alive and the sweets get gooey and oh so good!
If you get the ham-cheese-pretzel (you'd be crazy not to!) ask for some yellow mustard, it's free. Ample outdoor seating and clean bathrooms. This is one road side stop well worth the time unless your GF. 😏🤣
Next time one of those meat pies will be mine!

What to do in Southern Oregon

What a fantastic little bakery! James who helped us was so friendly and helpful. The sandwiches were delicious and my salad with smoked turkey was so good. You can tell they use top quality ingredients! They make their bread in house and smoke their meats. We definitely will stop in next time we are heading up I5!

Wow, outstanding. A short hop off the interstate. If you’re traveling, this is the best meal you will find.

All fresh baked goods, as seen in the photos. They smoke their own bacon.

Stopped on our way to eugene for lunxh. Had the BLT and was nice. We also had the turkey and roast beef sandwiches and I've been told they were really good. We also picked up some loaves of bread to go. Would recommend.

Stopped in for the first time. Had a breakfast Sammie and an apple tart. SO good. It's a little more expensive than my usual breakfast Sammie, but was way worth it! The ciabatta roll was flaky, hot, and delicious! The tart was sweet and dense with a crumbly, melt in my mouth crust. Very good food!

I've stopped here many times traveling up and down I-5. I used to consider it the best bakery. Each time they've gone up quite a bit in price. Now they've gone up a tone in price, and the sandwich is half the size. I know things are getting pricey, it's too pricey for the little serving size now. I paid $20 for a small roast beef sandwich and a poppy seed muffin. The muffins and rolls are pretty good, so maybe just try those.

It's no longer worth the stop for me.

What a great little, small town jewel. Having moved to Springfield, OR, only a couple of months back my wife and I have been ferreting out new places. Creswell Bakery is added as a go to place. Glenna, my wife ordered an orange coconut roll and a chicken pot pie pastry. I got the cinnamon raisin roll and the beef pastry. I ask the server, "Is this similar to a Cornish Pasty?" She answered that it is a Cornish Pasty so I gave it a try. My grandmother was from Cornwall so I had a good idea of what hers were. Well, I had a taste of home. The difference was potatoes were substituted instead of the traditional rutabaga or turnip. Social distance and masks were enforced. The outdoor seating was delightful on picnic tables. The area was well shaded with trees and planted greenery.

I live locally and come back about once every 9-12 months hoping for a better experience (and food) because of the rave reviews and every time I leave disappointed. It's a local business and so I usually try to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I have never had food that doesn't make me sick from greasiness or being overly sweet from here.

So today I got a meat pie and a lemon bar. Meat pie was meh, not super flavorful and far from the best I've had but the meat was generous and it was good enough.

The lemon bar was missing the lemon filling on half of it so I went inside and asked if the lemon bars are supposed to have lemon filling (the answer is an obvious YES). The person responded that she didn't know because she didn't make them and said she would check with the people who make it and did nothing to remediate the poor excuse of a lemon bar sans lemon.

So I tried to enjoy my meringue bar and ended up discovering while deconstructing that the lemon curd filling had no tartness and was just sweet, the meringue is overly sweet and the crust tasted like flour. Which, as someone who loves bread, is usually a good thing. But it was just a brick of flavorless flour.

So I was disappointed enough after 3 or 4 visits with food that failed to satisfy and the poor customer service of today to leave this whine about a lemon bar sans lemon.

My husband and I were passing by in I-5 on vacation and saw the billboard for Creswell Bakery. Decided to stop in for Sunday breakfast. First thing we noticed walking in was the scent of fresh cinnamon rolls in the air. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The service was fast even though there was a line of customers. Our breakfast sandwiches were hot and freshly made, and very delicious. My favorite part was the thick slices of bacon.

BIG pastries. Boom !! This place has them rollin' in and rollin' out. I did not know there were this many people in Creswell. My Lemon Poppyseed Muffin was kinda dense and dry. The Ham and Cheese Croissant was deeelicious, if a little short on ham. My nephews and my cousins kids enjoyed themselves. Lots of options. I will return. I believe they smoke their own bacon.
