Insomnia Coffee Co - Cannon Beach

During our brief stay at Cannon Beach, we visited Insomnia as a walk on the beach isn't complete without a beverage in hand. Little did I know that the pastry would take center stage. As we were ordering our drinks - loose leaf iced black tea for me, latte for my wife- we noticed the raspberry scones beautifully displayed near the register. Although we rarely order baked goods to accompany our morning drinks, we went against our usual restraint as we knew miles of hiking were in the near future and we had read that the pasties were made in house. Well, the first scone led to the purchase of a second as sharing was not an option. It was -magical. It was buttery, it was soft, it was tart and sweet- a marvel in my mouth. My wife insisted we purchase a third for the road and we are glad we did. Whether you drink coffee or not, a visit to Insomnia is a must. The pastry chef is a genius and her works of art are a must have during your visit.

I ordered a Chai Latté and it is literally the best I have had. They offer Loose Leaf (caffeinated) and powder (decaf) for this drink, and man it is delicious! Great atmosphere and very clean inside. Give them a visit!

Found this place while visiting and walking around. Cute little gem. Staff was friendly and I had probably the best pumpkin spice latte I have ever had. Went back the next day and a different person was making coffee and I tasted no difference from when it was made by someone else the day before. Staff did an amazing job and I’m sad I live so far away! The baked goods were yummy too!. Even though the waits can be long a yummy coffee that’s well made is worth it!

A great location to enjoy a great coffee. Had a Carmel latte that was fabulous.

Nice & cozy coffee shop. Loved their chai tea latte - smooth finish. Location is perfect with easy access to the beach. Fast service and friendly staff.

Pro tip, don't bother going to any other coffee shop in Cannon Beach. Currently, this is the best coffee shop around. Quality of coffee, no agendas, seating, nice atmosphere.

Love this place. High ceilings, lots of windows let in natural light, live plants, comfy chairs and classy beach decor. And good coffee, of course.

This is the best coffee we found in Cannon Beach. A few other highly rated cafes were ok but this one had it all. First, the best coffee and barista skills, second, amazing ambience and design, good music and friendly staff!

Insomnia Coffee is the exclamation point (!!!!!) of Cannon Beach. Okay... maybe Haystack Rock already owns that title, but Insomnia is definitely a must stop for all Cannon travelers. As you saunter past 2nd & Larch, the heavenly aromas and bustling sounds of milk streaming and coffee flavors being released will fill your senses. Friendly staff, Comfy rustic decor, tasty drinks, and scones. I usually enjoy the Aztec Mocha. I am a black coffee drinker, but break that mold for the Aztec. Rated 5 stars because google maps won't allow for 6!

Coffee is great. It was crowded and so a bit slow, but highly recommend the coffee
