Margin Coffee Roasters (Downtown)

This is one of my top recommendations if you’re looking for a coffee shop to relax for a minute and forget about everything else going on around you. The environment is friendly, cozy, and clean.

Me and my wife go here all the time and I tend to order the same thing. Cold Brew and a salmon stack. The Salmon Stack is to die for! They use their more floral coffee blend for their Cold Brew which is unique. (Not a huge fan of floral flavors). Even so it’s some of my favorite cold brew around.

I hope that anybody that stops by Albany comes by to grab a coffee, sit back, and let the stress from the outside world melt away.

My favorite Albany coffee shop is open for indoor and outdoor seating! My favorite fall drink is their Sugar & Spice latte. It's mildly sweet with light fall spices.

This is a true coffee shop! They're drinks and food and high quality. I like that their mochas and latte are not overly sweetened and they use high quality coffee. They provide friendly service in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere.

Blonde lady with braids and a beanie working this morning was so rude for no reason. I asked for a little extra oat milk on the side since my tiny espresso cup was too full to poor into and she audibly sighed, rolled her eyes and grabbed it. I've worked in customer service for 10 years and although I've been frustrated at customers for much more valid reasons, I would never do that right in front of them.

The coffee was pretty good. The atmosphere in the coffee shop is nice. The service wasn't great though. When I got up to the counter, the barista walked away before I could say anything and began making coffees. There were two of them at the espresso machine and I was the last person in line, and neither one of them so much as acknowledged my existence for a full 3 minutes. I felt super awkward standing there, wondering if I was supposed to say or do something or just wait. I even started looking around to see if I was in the wrong place to place an order because I had stood there for what seemed like forever. A simple "I'll be with you in a sec" would have been really helpful!

Amazing baked goods. Orange cinnamon roll was 5/5. Coffee wasn't as sweet as i prefer it but still very good. Great place to plug in a laptop and meet someone.

Good place for coffee. Better than average. Could do better with ordering as it has only one till and it was not overly efficient in my opinion.

Really great coffee, friendly service, lots of comfortable chairs and tables make for a cozy coffeeshop experience with plenty of space between you and other patrons. Staff obviously knew their regulars, greeting several of them by name. WIFI was ALBANYSLIVINGROOM, which fits very well as a description of the overall comfy vibe. I had the Dark Horse house coffee, which was smooth and robust with subtle fruity and smoky notes. Definitely will be back, I'm looking forward to trying some of their other blends. Highly recommended!

The variety of black coffee is fantastic! I enjoy tasting the different kinds which all taste good. The matcha latte with coconut milk is delicious. And the london fogs with coconut milk are exceptional! I love the simple variety and the place is gorgeous looking. The staff is nice too and manage staying on top of things well. Also, its affordable. Highly recommend!

I took a new friend out for Bkfst. I was happily surprised because it was my first time there. The salmon lox on a garbage bagel was my choice, and every morsel was dee-lish. The bagel was HOMEMADE.
My friend's English muffin was too. I'll be going back soon.

Coffee quality has decreased significantly since they began roasting their own beans. It seems that they are over roasting, giving the coffee a burnt taste. I love the service and ambiance, so here is to hopes that they will improve!
