Margin Coffee Roasters (Downtown)

I judge a coffee shop by their Americano and cold brew, no cream or sugar. I think they use the same beans for both drinks, which I think is a mistake. It makes great hot coffee but terrible cold brew. In fact the Americano is one of the best I've had.

It's relaibly chill and somehow spacious considering how popular it is. Food and drinks are just as great as the atmosphere.

Cafe Americano with coconut milk was sublime.

Margin Coffee has a lovely relaxed zibe, and when I visited music was playing, and there was a buzz of conversation in the air. This is obviously somewhere to come and connect. Whether you have 5 minutes or an hour. The staff are attentive to your order, which you place at the counter. The Square payment system means that your receipt can be emailed for expense purposes. Food and drinks are from local businesses and Margin supports the Albany Community in various ways. İf you like Live Music then Saturday is the time to go but then the volume is louder. Also if your having a private meeting you can book a large table at the back of the store for more privacy. Food wise the selection is small but very tasty. Bagels, cookies, buns, quiche and a beautiful sticky cinnemon bun are all worth trying, I did.... It's a big light and airy space, your only problem might be finding a seat. They are open before work for takeout. Try it for yourself, if you need a bit of s boost on your trip to Downtown Albany. There is even AirBnb upstairs, should you want to stay longer...

Came here to wait while my pet was being groomed. Very clean. Doing well to run while in the midst of a pandemic. Very spaced out to promote distancing. Signs on tables to direct people where to sit. Super friendly.

Great atmosphere, good for working on laptop, would give 5 stars if the wifi was faster. Great coffee

Great space, clean, high-quality products, good furniture, friendly service. My main gripe is that there could be a LOT more seating, and while I was there, on a weekday, mid-morning, I saw at least 3-4 customers come and go, after clearly looking for a seat, and not finding one.

Absolute best Mexican mocha I've ever had. And the new location is great.

This is my favorate coffee shop in Albany. Great coffee and great ambience. I come here about once a week.
