I am by no means an espresso aficionado but my experience with foolish things is always that of a good one. Their espresso is served as a double, and is quite good compared to other coffee shops i have visited in the past. They serve their espresso with a small glass of soda water to cleanse the palate between sips which I was very enthused to find out, as this is a sign (minor no doubt, but a sign) of a higher class coffee shop. Their Chai tea is also very delicious, as is their cold brew coffee. I frequent this shop at least once a week or twice if I'm in the mood for some great coffee!

Outside bike racks with nearby outside tables. Several tables that could be good work spaces inside. Nice decor, great coffee. They actually have Truvia, which is a nice change. Tried the iced cocoa-infused cold brew.; with a small tip it was $7, which is a bit steep for me, but it was good. Easy to access from the Midland Valley Trail if you are running or riding (and only about .5 away). If you start from 106/Elm, it is exactly a half-marathon to their door: what a way to celebrate!

Great place to sip and chill. This place also doubles as a great event center. We have done our Wedding Reception and our daughter's first birthday party here. I have also helped with a concert and a poetry night here. The place is great and the employees are helpful.

This is a unique establishment with good coffee and quiet enough to enjoy a good book. The coffee isn't overpriced and the staff is friendly and if you're not sure what you would like to order, they make excellent suggestions. I will return when visiting in the area to try the pastry as well.

Iced latte wasn’t bad, tried the breakfast bowl which would have been good with the chili twist had the potatoes been fully cooked, should have just stuck with the coffee. Quaint atmosphere though

Good solid lattes, great latte art! Clean spacious bathrooms. A more posh, upscale clientele, maybe because it's so close to downtown. Tasty, fresh pastries made in the shop (cookies, scones, muffins).

I ordered an iced vanilla latte and it was good. Service was fine. I think they should offer more size options. I still prefer Topeca's coffee shops, but I may visit Foolish things again due to its proximity to my building.

Excellent coffee shop! Great food. Pour over, aeropress, great atmosphere.

One of the friendlier places in town. They too feature coffee from multiple roasters (Auggies, Blueprint, Ritual, Onyx) which is neat because of the potential for fresh, wide range of great tasting coffees.

However, if you taste or find a coffee you really enjoy as an americano it likely won't be around long. Consistency is the issue with these types of shops.

In my experience, half the time you find something you like and the other half, unfortunately, you don't.

As far as baked goods and food. Hit or miss. What's a miss is the prices. Overpriced. However, shops in the downtown area tend to be a bit overpriced.

Overall, the spot has a great view and is definitely worth a visit.

The coffee here is amazing. Came here with a bunch of friends and everyone was very pleased. The baristas were friendly and helpful! And prices are reasonable. I got a cardamom latte and it was beautifully done.
