Been here twice. The first time I ordered the bison lettuce wraps, it came without bison. I ordered two and I was searching for the meat but since it was my first time having it, I assumed it was chopped really small like the mushrooms were because my boyfriend had the same order and it was the same exact way. It was a good lettuce wrap though. But today I came in the second time and got it again, and this time I noticed the bison sausage immediately and realized I never got it last time. I finally tried it, and the bison could use some seasoning, or at least some salt. The other parts were just as good as last time, but if I’m paying $12 for a meal, I would very much like it with the meat. Not bad overall.
We came in yesterday for my birthday and everything was amazing! The service was above and beyond and the Indian taco sliders were the best I’ve ever had and that’s saying something. I’m pretty sure we kept them open later than their normal hours, but everyone was so friendly and the art gallery and gift shop were a treat. Thank you so much for the off menu items! Tahlequah is lucky to have you. If you were in Tulsa you’d be busy round the clock. Wado for a wonderful experience! We can’t wait to stop in again next time we are out that way!
Slowish service. Good food. Shortchanged me by about $8, after trying to shortchange me by $20 (change for a $50 bill). This was after getting the manager to "help". Whether this was an elaborate scam or simply a comedy of errors (aka 2 errors in a row), neither is acceptable. More than I'd planned on tipping; hopefully not something repeated with future patrons. Pay with credit if you can.
Wonderful hidden spot in Tahlequah! I had the Bison Lettuce Wraps which were surprisingly flavorful and very filling. We also got the 3-Sisters Hummus to share and it was quite unique and delicious. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area.
Came in for a macchiotto which was better than most but not as good as others. Would have given 5 stars but I was bot acknowledged for about three minutes and I appeared to be the only customer.
We got the Friday special, the bison burgers, which were very good. They also make a mean omelet and a good biscuit and gravy - but don't forget to add on crumbled sausage.
Kawi has a newly revamped menu by Cherokee Chef Nico Albert and it is now a MUST VISIT! This morning I stopped in and had the breakfast burrito served with bison sausage, black beans, corn and my friend had the scratch biscuit with gravy and bison sausage. We were both happy!

Awful service. I asked if it was self service and the lady who worked there said yes. At the end she never took my order or leave the menu
