Unfortunately for me I ate at Aaimpa cafe. I unusually like to complain about a place so here it goes: they gave to big of portions that tasted great and the cost was to low! It was clean and cool. That was really upsetting as the staff was friendly on top of it! I had nothing to complain about. On a side note, when you tour the village, I might recommend going out on the sky bridge as it looks down on the village and really has an impact. We watched and participated in a stomp dance. All of the folks were so nice and took time to explain background, importance and helped understanding it's importance. If you do not like friendly people who shake your hand then this might not be your cup of tea.
Located in the Chickasaw Cultural Center. The prices are super reasonable, and the Indian Tacos were the best we’ve had!! Definitely worth going out of your way to experience!
We love this place. Worth the drive from OKC. That's my opinion though others may not agree but I believe they have the very best Indian tacos. Just try the Chickasaw special. Add a small bowl of buffalo chilly. Ask for a extra plate and share it with your sweetheart. Enjoy the peacful and beautiful surroundings. If you've never been take a tour of the facility and heritage center. Really a nicely done place.
My 8 year-old granddaughter & I really enjoy this little restaurant. It has a very pleasant & peaceful feeling. It's very clean, price's are so reasonable & portion size are good size. You should never go away feeling hungry. My favorite meal is the combo. You get a Indian taco, Pashofa (hominy)soup & a grape dumpling. It's become a favorite little spot for us especially during the summer months. When the Oklahoma heat drives you back inside to cool off. Her & I travel through Sulphur everytime I take her to Ada to participate in the man numerous Chickasaw kid camp activities summer. We go there spring & fall as well just not as much like the summer months. Anyway she already has great memories of the times we're together. It's nice having this special restraurant & I hope it brings as much joy for others like it has for us.
This place is very nice to see. If you come during summer be prepared for it to be hot. Fall and spring are awsome times to visit. They have many things to do and see (theater, cafe, arts).
I could not believe how long it took to get a sandwich at this place! They had two people taking orders however the people in the back making the food took so long to get it out you had almost forgotten what you ordered! Not worth the wait or the price!

Authentic Chickasaw food at good prices. Fair warning they have very small servings for most of the menu.
