Cafe Mona

Long time Stillwater resident and have eaten at all of our many, many Mexican restaurants. Cafe Mona has the best food, hands down. Fresh salsa, fresh everything. Street Tacos and Chimi were fantastic, no grease anywhere. The chips and salsa are incredible (ask to try their hotter options - also homemade). Excellent service, clean and relaxed restaurant. Don't let the strip mall "hole in the wall" appearance dissuade you. This place is a Stillwater treasure for excellent Mexican food. Apparently the coffee shop is amazing as well, but we haven't tried that yet. Looking forward to returning for a breakfast of Huevos Rancheros. Great place ran by great people who genuinely want you to have a great experience. Very reasonable prices. Oh, and try a sopapilla here. So good. Honestly cannot praise this place enough.

Excellent food, coffee and service. Would come regularly if I was local.

Finally made it in for tamale night! OMG it was sooooo good! (It's always amazing, but the tamales were amazing tonight)
Literally the Best, MOST Authentic food you can imagine. People are great too!

Instead of taking care of our table, the waitress chatted with some artistic sign guy for 45 minutes while we went without water, chips and salsa. I ordered the nachos and added jalapeños and instead of grilling or cooking the jalapeño it was just a hard raw jalapeño that didn't taste good so i didn't eat it which ruined my dining experience. When i crave Mexican food I won't go to this place.

I order street tacos,rice and frijoles. The rice and frijoles were cold and the tacos tasteless.. My wife on the other hand,had a descent meal,not great. Will I come again,not for a long time.

Cafe Mona is by far the best Mexican restaurant in town. They have fantastic customer service, great food, and an espresso machine! Their street corn nachos with thick, homemade chips are my favorite. They also have a filling chorizo breakfast burrito I could eat every day

Great food and service. Just went here today for the first time. 5$ Breakfast burrito packed full of meat, cheese, potatoes, veggies! Heck yeah! Amazing coffee and lattes too 💕 Definitely recommend especially since I am a college student on a budget and their prices are great for the quality and authenticity 💕💜

This restaurant is truly one of a kind! They have amazing customer service, incredible authentic Mexican food and a very homey, nice atmosphere. If you like to eat and work, they have lots of outlets to work from making this a perfect spot for lunch or a business dinner.

I had the Huevos Rancheros lunch and it was cooked to perfection. Along with that, I had an Horchata Latte which was also very good!

Overall, my experience was great and I would 10 out of 10 DEFINITELY recommend!

Chips and salsa were horrible, couldn't even eat them, which means I probably will not return, but the chilaquiles were authentic as hell and really amazing. Definitely try this out for a more authentic experience as compared to the other joints in-town, which are overly Americanized.
