I've found a coffee place that serves good food, servers who treat you like family, and of course coffee! Nutella latte is my favorite. I had the fajita salad with cinnamon role and the creamy latte mentioned above. I was full AND satiated. My server was both kind and attentive. I was happy to leave her a $5 tip. I am definitely going back! By the way, kid friendly too.

This is a small, local Mexican Food Cafe that has opened up in Stillwater recently.

The people working the Cafe are extremely friendly and that is enough for a return visit.

But...

The food is absolutely amazing. Try anything, it's all good. The street tacos are second to none.

The chips are made right there and are different than your typical restaurant grade tortilla chips, very good.

The salsa is thinner than typical but has a unique flavor.

I keep going back for lunch and dinner, I can't think of a better compliment.

Highly recommend.

Food and coffee worthy of two visits in a two day stay in Stillwater. The Alex Comal is single best individual meal in Stillwater. Add some plantains and your set.
Great customer service too.

My fiancé and I have made an adventure out of our “tour of Mexican cuisine in Stillwater”! We only have a food truck left to go and we have eaten at all of these establishments over the last 10 months. Some of the restaurants we have frequented a few times. Some of them have been pretty good. Some of them are a little pricier than others. Last night was the first time we’d been to Cafe Mona. How had we not known about this place before?!! It’s by far our favorite! The food is authentic! They know what’s up! The service was top notch and the restaurant is quaint & not too loud like a large chain establishment.
My man had a chimichanga and I had the chicken skillet. I’d love to be able to tell your the exact name of my dish, but I’m afraid I’d absolute butcher it. We ordered all the things! We got queso, quacamole, and ended our meal with sopapillas and tried their Oreo churro. There was not a bad thing on our table.
Don’t go in expecting tortilla chips like you’d get out of the bag. These are homemade chips! At first we weren’t sure we were going to like them, but I’m telling you, they grew on us. We were so impressed with our entire experience, even the price, that we will absolutely be going back.

Excellent mexican food at reasonable price. One of my favorites in Stillwater. Friendly staff, quick service.

The street tacos are legit, and the best chorizo I've had to date. The lattes are bomb, and not too sweet. They also have whole bean coffee for sale at the register that looks to be good, but I'll have to edit my review for when I try that in the future. Easy 5 stars.

Best burritos, street tacos, soup, queso, coffee and the list goes on. The service is above and beyond!!!

Super delicious, FLAVORFUL, meals. Salsa is tasty and chips crunchy. Only complaint this time, is that the shortening/lard used in the flour tortillas was old. Prior visits were fine.

We had been thinking of this place as a fusion restaurant or something, which is why we had put it off until we were not wanting something in particular, I guess it could be a type of fusion, just not in the way I thought it would be.
We have eaten here a couple of times now and so far everything has been really good! We still have a lot of things to try but what we have tried is excellent. The Torta's are incredible, we have had them in Al Pastor and Carne Asada and both were packed full of everything, and big enough to last 2 meals each for us! The meat was tender and very flavorful and the bread is definitely from a Panaria somewhere, possibly from OKC maybe? I haven't asked where yet but it is the authentic style/flavor we are used to, not a Walmart or american bakery knock off. The fries are even good! I definitely wasn't expecting anything more than just the basic cheap fast food style fries a lot of privately owned restaurants serve. They were the battery dipped type instead giving them that extra crunch. Everything was most definitely worth every penny. We have also tried the Chili Colorado and the Chili Verde meals, both were excellent, we learned that the meals typically come with flour tortillas unless corn is specified on the menu. So we have started asking for corn just as personal preference, what we are used to having. The chips and salsa are good, it's the fresh type of salsa that isn't cooked first. The chips are made there from corn tortillas making them perfect for using to scoop up the meat and sauce or rice and beans. They are thick and dense so they don't break when using to scoop. I am definitely going to try their nachos at some point as these chips would be perfect for nachos, they would hold up well, not getting soggy quickly under everything. Its how we make our chips at home when making nachos. The horchata is excellent! Real, not the powder mix. Its perfect with spicy food, cool and sweet and full of cinnamon and vanilla. Definitely going to have to try the coffee options at some point, if we can get past the horchata. We may just end up having to get both. I honestly wasn't expecting too much, tried to keep an open mind as usual before coming here the first time and was very pleasantly surprised, enough so that we decided to try it again before leaving a review to make sure it didn't just seem so good because of the surprise... It definitely wasn't that, we walked away the second time with just as big an impression as the first. Reading other reviews, we are definitely going to have to try the queso next time! Maybe the nachos. What we have had so far is the type of food we are used to having from taco trucks, other authentic restaurants in Tulsa or at friends/ex husbands family's, houses for special occasions, this is just as good as anything we have had doing any of those things. We will definitely be back!

After reading reviews i was excited to try. Very disappointed. Chips were burnt. Carne azada was thin but tough to cut and chew. Rice was good.
