Cafe Mona

First visit at this local favorite restaurant. The breakfast Gordita’s, plantains, and a latte made for a great meal. The gordita shell is house made and filled with particularly tasty beans and other components. Others in our party had burritos or breakfast platters with chorizo that they enjoyed. Will return!

When Cafe Mona moved from downtown OKC to Stillwater, OKC lost a gem of a Mexican cafe. So when we passed through Stillwater, Mrs. Flip Out and I had to stop here for supper. We tried the chorizo queso and guacamole-both terrific! They make the tortilla chips in house and they are delicious. I had the steak chimichanga and I really enjoyed how the steak and other fillings complimented each other. The queso sauce on top added that extra layer of flavor that made the meal complete. Mrs. Flip Out had the Enchiladas Verdes and really enjoyed it as well. The rice and beans were terrific! Cafe Mona also has a coffee bar and their coffee beverages are simply delicious! The horchata and iced horchata latte were perfect. If you stop in to Cafe Mona, we hope you love it, too.

Great breakfast, quick service and really friendly staff! We got the breakfast burrito and the pancakes. The cortado was also really good! We will definitely be back!

Living in San Antonio & South Texas for a Decade I can affirm this place is inauthentic from a flavor perspective, & the portions are small. Also, I asked for the taco platter on flour and they told me to order “Tacos Gringos” the “White Boy Tacos”. 🤣😂 Pay attention folks.

This is one of our favorite places. Unique food combined with absolutely delicious coffee. We're so glad that they're expanding. I especially love their street tacos and the street corn nachos. They also have the best guacamole!

Delicious coffee, delicious Mexican food!! They spare no expense at making everything correctly. From having a very high quality espresso grinder to having some of the best Mexican food within a hundred miles (I've checked), Cafe Mona is one of my go-to places to eat and I'm happy to finally have good Mexican food outside of Texas and California.

Cute family owned authentic Mexican restaurant. The service was fast and friendly and the food was great, best I had in a while! Restaurant was clean and everything organized.

First off, the food is great!
The thing about this place, price point and great food. Sorry to say but the price is not their thing anymore. They were lacking flexibility when it comes to substitution (who upcharges for chicken? 🤔)

The horchata latte is the thing to get; you will not be disappointed. This place arguably has the best coffee in Stillwater. The food is also excellent; I haven't had anything here that I've not loved. I am looking forward to seeing how they use the additional space when they move across the parking lot to their new location.

UPDATE November 22 - Having tried most of the fall menu drinks: Cafe de Olla latte is a solid choice any day, Apple Brule for when you want something sweeter, and Horchata Pecan feels like drinking a hug.

Recently, they asked me to try a drink with Atole (a Mesoamerican drink made from ground corn) and coffee, which is now one of my favorites. It has a broad depth of flavor and would be a great drink to have when outside in cold weather.
