First timers this morning and we loved it! Definitely will be back!

We went on a Sunday for brunch. It took 45 minutes to get a table, which was to be expected. The place is well lit, spacious, and definitely has a hip vibe to it. The service is also excellent here, they are very attentive and polite. My only complaint was the food. It was just not good for me. I ordered the house's eggs benedict with a side of biscuits and gravy. My English muffin wasn't toasted and my bacon was burnt. The biscuits and gravy tasted strange, like day old movie theater popcorn. I thought I was crazy so I had my two friends try it...so, yes, can confirm. It tasted like old popcorn. One friend said his meal was excellent, so I hope he left a review. Another friend said his was okay, so I definitely got the short straw. I was sad about all of this, because we had very high hopes about a Sunday brunch joint, but as soon as we left we regretted NOT going to Jam down the road. Probably won't be back, but I hope this will be taken into account and will help improve some of the dishes!

Excellent place, great food, service and location. Right downtown Norman. I normally don’t leave feed back but the service and food was excellent. I would come back anytime!!!!!

Syrup makes a great, affordable, delicious breakfast. There are gluten free options as well as cold brewed coffee. Our latest visit was quieter though it was during a time that the restaurant was not as busy.

The food here is mediocre at best. But the service, the service was horrible. Our waitress was ever so nice as to have and then leave her hair in our drinks. Then after she brought our new drinks we didn’t see her again till the check. Other waitresses brought our food. The chairs are very small and uncomfortable. I’m not a big guy. 6”1 200lbs. I had this review as a two star but the more I wrote about it the more I realized it should be a one star. This place is NOT worth the wait. They honestly should have paid me to eat there.

The name says it all! Great pancakes, waffles and varieties of toppings!

I really wanted to like Syrup. And it was pretty good, but not nearly as good as the price would indicate. I always judge breakfast food on how they cook the eggs. The whites should always be cooked, no matter what.
The good: bacon was tasty and coffee was delicious
The bad: My sunny side up eggs came with raw whites on top. Okay, I get it, not everywhere has perfected the art of the sunny egg. I sent it back and asked for over easy eggs. They were also undercooked. My wife's over medium eggs still had raw egg whites inside. I'm usually pretty understanding about kitchen errors, but at $10 a plate, I'd expect them to do better than 0/3 eggs correctly. The potatoes were lackluster and underdone.
Syrup has all the trappings to be really good, but when they charge double the price of other breakfast joints, I expect better. Two "nomptons" and two black drip coffees cost me $30 before tip.

Great service! The food was delightful but, the syrup was the warmest thing on my plate of food.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. We have to stop every time we’re in Norman or Oklahoma City. Best breakfast food and super cute interior!
