Frickin amazing. A buddy and I meet at a new breakfast place every month. We tried the huevos rancheros, eggs benedict, and crunchy french toast. The environment and service were on point. We've established a short list of favorites that become regulars. Syrup made that list today. Thank you for our experience.

I have not been here in a couple of years but decided to go for breakfast yesterday on a Sunday morning.
I sat down looking to do some school work while I was there but my waitress told me that they don’t give out wifi on the weekends. Which I guess I can understand if the place is packed with brunch goers but I was one of maybe four people there at that point. So that was kind of annoying but i don’t hold her at fault.
My waitress was really nice. I ordered coffee which was delicious as always. They have great coffee here. A little bit after I ordered the place started getting packed. It took some time for my food to get out to me and by the time it did it was cold. I didn’t want to bother anyone with it because my waitress was having a hard time until the other waiters came in not long before I left. I had to wait 15 minutes for her to just bring me some condiments.
Besides being cold my home fry’s were undercooked and my pancakes were disappointing too.
In conclusion: I’m giving it three stars because in the past I have enjoyed this place and they have many loyal customers who come through almost every day.
However, was my one plate of food and cup of coffee worth $20? Absolutely not. I cursed myself for not going to IHOP or Waffle House because at least I know what I’m getting everytime I go there.
I wouldn’t blacklist this place but maybe proceed with caution at odd times of day. As an alternative I would reccomend neighborhood jam or the diner for a great experience.

Service sucked employees stood around talking waited 30 minutes on my food with only 6 customers in da restaurant once the waitress set my food down in front of me I pulled a hair off my food right in front of her face then she left to the bathroom to put her up in a ponytail then she had the nerve to come back and ask me how it was and I said not good being that you just watched me pull hair out of my food my mother asked for more water and she looked at her and walked off I’ve eaten there several times and it’s the worst service I’ve ever had and I won’t be back.

Delicious meal. Their bacon was incredible and so were the pancakes. Stumptown Coffee is always a plus!

Literally the best food I’ve ever had in my entire life. I’m pretty sure they get their recipes from actual angels. They also have the best service. All the servers must be actual angels.

Overall, my experience was great. Myself and a large group of friends went in very early in the middle of the week (730) and they were chipper and more than happy to accommodate such a large group (about 12). The host staff was extremely friendly and made the ordering process smooth and effortless. As far as the food is concerned, everything looked AND tasted fantastic. The meal was a bit on the pricey side but I think the occasional visit is certainly warranted. I would definitely recommend this business and I guarantee I will be back.

The fancy coffees we tried were yummy & strong. Our brunch filled us up and ate every bite definitely will be going back. Only complaint, wish they seasoned the potatoes, could tell they were fresh cut,, but a little bland. We want to try more on menu.

I'm not really much of a morning person, but if there is a circumstance that finds me out and about in the early mornings I like to treat myself with a nice breakfast. Syrup is most definitely that spot. The wife likes how "cute" it is inside, however it is my opinion that the food is the far superior experience. Crunchy French toast, biscuits and gravy, hollandaise sauce, and perfectly poached eggs held some fantastic flavors and was worth what was spent!
