Fat Boys Cafe

The place was packed. 2 tables left by the door because it was so cold. I asked the waiter what she recommended. One of the things was chicken chunks. Little did I know it also came with a soup or salad but they were out of soup and don’t like salad so she offered double mashed potatoes(real potatoes). It also came with buttered toast and either pinto beans or okra. I got the okra. All that for 7.99. That cheaper than most fast food value meals. They could bump that price up 4-5 dollars easily. I also had great service and saw all the staff displaying great customer service. I’ll definitely be back. Sorry I already ate half so the picture doesn’t show everything. But it’s about half. I’ll definitely be back.

This place would be rated higher, but it's overly popular. We showed up mid to late after noon. It was too crowded. No tables were open. The wait staff was so busy that it was difficult for them to keep up. Once they had a table cleared off, our wait time was about 20 minutes to place our orders. Then, another 30 to 40 minutes to receive our order. I will admit the food was hot and fresh and very tasty, the staff although extremely busy was very polite.
I definitely recommend eating here. I just hope you catch a less popular time to eat. These ladies work hard and keep smiling.

Very nice Little Cafe. I had eggs and home fries, my daughter got the chicken fried steak meal. I finished mine, she devoured hers. Very good. Attentive staff. Prices were great. I will definitely be going back. Need to try their lunch items myself or maybe a calzone.

The food was OK, everything seemed a little over cooked. I had to raise my hand to get service at the table, for coffee refills and such. The part that really hurt was I wanted to give the waitress a 10% tip on a $24 bill and she tried to charge me $18 for. When I caught her doing it and said something she got mad. Except for that Fat Boys Cafe is just so-so.by

Amazing every time we go. It has definitely become our Thursday lunch spot. For good reason.
Excellent food, great environment, fantastic service.
The only thing you might have to worry about...getting there early enough to get a seat! They are busy!
