Hot Shots Coffee

When I ask "can you make it sweet?" They know EXACTLY what I mean. Hot coffee, cold coffee, snacks. They got you! My favorite time to go is happy hour! Don't forget to tip your barista!

Guess you need to be very specific when ordering here.
First, i ordered a mocha mule kicker. The young lady at the register asked what size. I answered 16oz. She was interrupted by a lady standing behind her telling her it only comes in one size.
Then they presented me with some frozen drink. I was never asked if I wanted a frozen drink or a hot coffee. To me, coffee is hot. Another young woman came and asked me if I asked for milk with my frap. I didn't order a frap.
Then I was given a hot drink that tastes more like an Americano. No mocha, no flavor, just hot and very bitter.

The leadership here is deplorable. They do not follow any Covid protocol and honestly the owner should be ashamed. I would not feel safe currently going here, especially not with my family. Nice employees, terrible leadership.

If I could give negative stars I would. Please do not waste your time here. Any gas station coffee is better then this place. And you wouldn't have to wait 10-45 minutes for your coffee. Also it's not coffee, it's water with a bit of coffee.

WELL, we drove out of our way coming back from Dallas to Joplin. GOT there 6 minutes before closing. We pull up and the girl said sorry we closed at 5. Mind you it was 6 minutes till 5, we are tired and need COFFEE! She said they are deep cleaning. 😠 NOT happy at all. We will not return if we pass through your town again.

This morning I waited for 45 minutes in the drive thru. In the 45 minutes that I had given myself to get coffee and breakfast. I didn’t get either. I had to call the store and tell them I’ve waited that long and was now late for work. They said “I don’t know what to do.” And you can’t exit the drive thru, I had to tell them to ask the person in front of me to please pull forward and let me out. I was 5 minutes late for work when I had given myself plenty of time. When I pulled into that line there was 3 cars in front of me. It takes over 45 minutes for that?

I was going to this place before they moved to the current location. I have never had a bad cup of coffee, Latte, frappuccino or tea. Shawna and staff are welcoming, accommodating, personable, and fun. This is not your run of the mill coffee shop!

Hotshots is the best in Durant! They have the BEST baristas who know how to make their coffee! Amazing atmosphere and I love how they are very welcoming to everyone no matter what! (:

Such a fun, homey, coffee shop! Great coffee too! My husband also got the mini cinnamon rolls which were a great deal at $1.99 for 5. Will return whenever I drive by Durant again!
