The Y Cafe

We had 4 different dinners and all were great. We returned for breakfast and it was also great. Portion were very large for both meals. We will return, when in the area. The fish was amazing.

I tried this place when it first opened. It was terrible burned food was served. There was only one waitress for morning rush. And there was 3 girls standing around the biscuit and gravy machine waiting to serve . Just waiting till Chisholm Corner signs get taken down to see if it's any better

Great food at an affordable price. Homecooked vibes!! I had the pulled pork sandwich. There was so much meat on it, I ate some by itself then ate the rest as a sandwich. Very tender and very little to no fat. They serve large portions and I took home about 1/3 of my meal. Service was great and with a smile, however we were there while servers started cleaning up to leave and they were loudly talking about "shutting down for the night", "getting to go home" and "chores" that still needed done and who was doing each one. They were sweeping and cleaning tables nearby and we felt somewhat rushed to finish our food and leave. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal in or near Duncan.

This is a working person's paradise. You can park your truck here and rest. You can go inside the restaurant and order any manner of traditional Southern-style foods, and they will make it for takeout as well. You can get fuel from the convenience store and that is inseparable from the restaurant. And the location is ideal for people traveling to and fro Oklahoma City and Duncan or Lawton. It's only about 15 to 20 minutes north of Duncan. The traditional American fried Chicken is a chicken fried chicken steak. It is divine, but ask for extra gravy. The chicken fried steak is also quite fine, very tender and crispy. You have to have mashed potatoes and white gravy with those proteins, and something green if you can tolerate it. I consider it a treat to get a meal from the Y Cafe.

First the service was great the problem was the food. I had hash browns ,eggs and ham. When the food arrived the hash brown cold, cold as in refrigerator cold. I sent them back, they nucked them turned to rubber. Unable to eat my wifes were the same. No apologies. Won't be back.

The service depends on the waitress you get. The waitress tonight didn't refill cups and my okra was cold.

Very friendly and fast service. Waitress was so nice and kept our cups filled with drinks. Super good food as well.

Good food, but I feel it is a little pricey

Always reliable and good value for the money. Could use more help, but it’s worth the weight.
