The Y Cafe

The place is not fancy but it's clean, airy feel for a truckstop.
Every time we go the place is packed so be prepared to give a little grace on service time cause the friendly staff works hard!
They have new iced coffee drinks that are very tasty I tried the cream and Carmel they were a little sweet..if you like Starbucks you'll like these!
The regular coffee is good too with or with out cream.
We"he eaten there several times.
I've had delicious omelets cooked to my specifications!
Crispy hash browns (the way I like them)
A quality cut of juicy ribeye steak for breakfast or dinner meal with baked potato (loaded or not)
Yummy meatloaf, blts, Chicken fried steak,
no salad bar but their salads are big fresh but very standard ( my only disappointment)
But the way they accommodate special orders I could probably order something unique and they would do it.
Wide variety of breakfast and dinner.(some might call lunch)
All in all nothing gourmet but a good tasting meal for a good price!

The service was great and the portion sizes were over the top, especiallyfor the price! Way more food than I could eat. The sweet tea was awesome, and I'm Picky about the tea I drink. Definitely would visit again

Friendly but forgot some of our food when told she forgot it she told us we didn't order it ...didnt check on us until she was ready to know if we wanted to go boxes ... Our steak was burnt too

The breakfast was incredible the service was terrific. I would definitely go back again

I have to admit , They have really good "Southern Comfort " food.
Try the chicken fried steak or meatloaf.

Rib eye and eggs. Done the way I like. Fun times. Good waitress . Only downfall- had to stand and wait almost half hour for a table or booth. Lunch time very busy. Standing room only.

The food was great. Our cashier Dog was not very friendly, but that doesn't affect the quality of the food.
