Local Roots Market & Café

Wow, what a turnaround. This place is way more dynamic compared to when we last visited four years ago. Loved the electric car show, and I found and purchased compostable plastic bags. Planning to go back this week for lunch. Nice to see it thriving!

I always stop at Local Roots when I’m in Wooster visiting family. I pick up local produce and flowers for my hosts and grab a vegetarian / vegan lunch from the various daily chefs or prepared food section.

Always a joy popping by here! I'm always grabbing the gnat and bee tea (I believe that's the name of the brand, idk but I have so many packets of it lol), their vegan jerky, and some of the local pastries whenever I need a nice pick me up💕

If you want to see what Wayne County and the surrounding area has to offer, this is a fun place the check out: coffees, syrups, honey, baked goods, fresh cheese, milk, baked goods, and veggies... Not to mention all of the artisan works available... 5heres plenty to see, smell, and taste. The food is delicious and I had the pleasure of enjoying an Indian meal. Each day they rotate chefs, so there's a unique option each week. Artwork abounds and I love seeing the works of others hands.... Definitely worth a visit. Yes, a bit pricey for me.... However, still fun and I love shopping local.

Stopped by to restock on Wootown bagels. Been buying them through Countryside Conservancy Farmers Market in Akron. Ran out and needed more. Ended up purchasing a few more items. I always prefer local and small produced items. Get shop with a great selection of food, drinks, baked goods, and artisan works.

This place is amazing store that has everything handmade and local! The food, the toiletries, the body care, home products, everything! It makes me feel great when I shop here knowing I’m supporting small businesses, and everything has amazing quality!
Great place to get some groceries, and a great place to get gifts (or treat yourself!)
The staff are incredibly friendly as well!

I buy all my produce here - can find good quality mushrooms (shiitake, oyster, lions mane +) leafy greens, root vegetables (onions, carrots, sweet potatoes +) and apples year round! More variety like local berries during season.

Lovely place! Clean and well stocked. Very friendly staff and love the coffee shop. Very flavorful and delightful drinks. Highly recommend this stop!

this is such a cozy place to get a cup of coffee and a treat, best bagels you can get and artist booths are great. there are some really nice out of season vegetable vendors. i find myself in here more than any other place in town.

Our family loves Local Roots! There are some things we get every time we stop in, like WooTown Bagels and Ol' Dirty Sheets hot sauce, and then we always find something new to try. They have so many local products and delicious food, there's truly something for everyone.
