Local Roots Market & Café

I stop here whenever I’m in the area. It is such a treat for a California-grown vegetarian to find so many wonderful options of healthy food, many produced locally here in Ohio. There are so many options for different dietary preferences. I often pick up pierogis, snacks, cereal, tea, spices and other specialty products. Staff is always kind and friendly, following health ordinances which make me feel safe. The lunch options are wonderful, and I always find another new product I want to try! And it’s so cool that they are a coop, if I lived closer I would definitely join.

The folks who work here are absolute gems! Always willing to answer any questions you may have. Love the fact that you are shopping local and shopping in season.

Great place to grab gifts or for some shopping for yourself. My favorites are the teas, ceramic, jewelry, dried lavender, and fresh flowers! I’ve only had their breakfast sandwiches, but their menu looks great!

Great grocery store. Little bit expensive because most of the products are organic and farmers get their share by selling the products here.
Recently an Indian food started to sell and I love it.

We were visiting from out of state and grabbed some things to have in our rental for the week. Everything was amazing. What a unique and delicious selection! This place is especially great for those of us with diet restrictions like gluten intolerance, vegan, or anyone conscious of organic eating. Everyone who helped us was lovely too. It’s very clean and organized as well.

If you are looking for local food, whether meat, dairy, produce, baked goods, gluten free, vegetarian, or anything in between, Local Roots has it. I love grocery shopping here and am always tempted by the fresh baked goods especially. Not limited to food though, there are always really nice handmade soaps and all kinds of arts and crafts. They also have a cafe which is great for a healthy lunch option. It's basically a high quality indoor farmer's market if you are still unsure what it's all about!

Great shop! They offer many fine local foods and crafts. A lot of bakery goods, the English muffins and bagels are my favorites. I have a very nice cutting board I got there too.

Love Local Roots Market! Delicious eat in and takeout food, a great variety of baked goods & frozen food, and fresh local produce available year round. The staff are helpful & friendly, and the store is organized & inviting. There is something for everyone at Local Roots Market!!
