Plate 21

Not a great experience. The staff was not welcoming and the “coffee” was not very good. I ordered a ice cold brew mocha and basically got chocolate milk. It was way over priced $6.50 for a regular size. The place was clean and had a nice atmosphere.

I LOVE Plate 21 and I always recommend it to everyone. I’ve tried iced vanilla lattes all over and they continue to stay my number one choice. I love it so much I baught their espresso beans and made an iced latte at home.. I fainted if happiness of how good their espresso is compared to any other coffee shop. Their chicken pesto and tofu pesto panini I would do anything for.. so good. I used to work at Plate 21 and I’ve never worked with nicer people than the people there. It is such an amazing place.

So, went there for the first time Sunday. Went with my mom and twin, we walked in and were greeted- FABULOUS! They suggested a coffee drink and 2/3 of us went with it - iced vanilla latte! The latte was yummy. The food, was okay- I have a feeling the tofu pesto is not vegan even though it’s labeled on the menu as vegan. My stomach hurt after… so I’m guessing the pesto had cheese which makes it not vegan but vegetarian. The chips weee yummy! KIND of annoyed- that needs to be changed if there is cheese in their homemade pesto…. False advertising.

Now, I saw a customer drop their bagel with cream cheese on it…& it made me sad, so I bought them one and told them to just bring it to them - the customer was walking out the door WITHOUT the bagel. I mean I waited a good 45 mins….& the worker stopped them but like, 45 mins to cut & toast a bagel and put a container of cream cheese on it???? It was not the smoothness I wanted for the person to get a free bagel… 🤯

I ride by here on my bike a lot in the summer and finally stopped in to try it. Bright airy atmosphere created with colorful accents and cozy spots, but mostly just the light tapering in the windows. The latte was ok...I haven't had a good one in so long I may have forgotten what it's like! At least the drink was somewhat warmer than bathwater but not hot enough in my book.

Extremely friendly staff, they don't rush you and wait patiently. The menu is very diverse even though it appears small at first, lots of different coffee choices with their flavor notes listed. The food is extremely delicious and they have plenty of different options for everyone's personal and required good preferences. It's located in a extremely cute shopping plaza

Coffee and food are great but wifi is very spotty as of recently. Would not recommend if you are planning to study in a coffee shop. Also outlets are limited which can make recharging computers difficult. Would recommend rust belt if you are looking for a study/work space. Other than that plate has a nice atmosphere for chatting.

I LOVE plate 21 so much, the coffee and food is so good but I am sad because the customer service is bad. The workers were always very friendly but there is a different person who is very mean and i’ve only went twice since seeing them but they make me scared to go inside to order so I won’t be going back. It is upsetting because I love their products but I feel so uncomfortable with the workers. I dined in the most recent time but i had to end up leaving because I felt very judged.

Excellent espresso and coffee. Good location for third wave coffee prepared well. For instance, asking for a cortado actually delivers me a cortado instead of a mini latte filled with way too much milk. Plate 21 is great for coffee.

Always great coming here. Drinks are good quality and the vibe of the place is one of the best coffee shops around.

Drinks are a little pricey for a coffee shop, but the quality is good. Atmosphere is great for working remotely or catching up with a friend.
