The Slow Train Cafe

Parents’ weekend - very busy from the doors opened on Saturday morning - until close. We ordered : Latte, Maple Latte, albino squirrel, and Gibraltar. Espresso drinks are above average. Today only drawback was the wait. Lots of people sitting in the cafe doing work. I would definitely recommend this place.

Love this place! Indoor and outdoor seating, chill vibe and a wide selection of caffeinated beverages. Excellent matcha latte!

Nice to be back and enjoy the cozy atmosphere and friendly service! I see reports of people experiencing slow service, but we had no such problem during our early evening visit today.

I had a great moment there, I just stopped for drink a mocha and stayed there around 30 min but I saw the environment really nice. Cozy decoration, and a lot of people join there with friends to talk, read, do homework. Free WiFi than I really appreciate more if I just here to know the area.

Good vegan options for drinks :) they usually have some vegan pastries/desserts too! I had a really good cinnamon sugar cookie the other day with my matcha latte!

Coffee, menu and atmosphere are great, but SLOW is the operative word here. Don’t plan on grabbing a quick cup of coffee - even plain old drip. Staff seemed to be working hard and were very friendly, but they need to examine their systems to prevent such long wait times.

Great coffee but $5 for a latte is a lot.

I have been frequenting the cafe weekly for two years and the products and customer service is exceptional. The staff know their Java and greet you with a smile. It is an excellent place to study or for a social gathering even for us 40+ crowd. The background music is relaxing and does not interfere with your work at hand. The bathroom facilities are clean and the entire asthetic is rustic but with warmth and charm.
My favorite place to be on Saturday morning.

I couldn't agree more with the other review that says slow to the point of seeming spiteful. No line, 4 of them behind the counter, standing around laughing at each other's phones, no one making coffee. After a line started to form 2 of the 4 left and 1 of them decided to make my coffee.
