A little hard to find since it was downstairs below a bike shop but once you got in, it had a cozy and pleasant appeal. Welcoming staff as well. They had plenty of options of baked goods as well as the usual hot drinks. Their hot chocolate was very similar to European hot chocolate, which is a great thing! Extremely chocolatey all the way through instead of just at the bottom. Served warm and ready to enjoy right there. Not too hot, not too cold. Just right. Only critique is there sizes. Most small sizes are 10/12 oz. but here it was 8. Luckily the 12 oz. was about the same as most other shops: $2.75.
For being here my first time the coffee is excellent the vibe and aura here is peaceful although I always thought occupying places like this with the laptop and ear buds in are douchebags π it's fun being a douche great place
Disappointed with my experience. I was the only one waiting, and it took 20 minutes for a latte and a bagel. The latte was great, but the bagel was super disappointing. I love Cleveland Bagel, but this was barely warm (asked for toasted), definitely not fresh, and it had the teeniest scoop of cream cheese on the side. If you've ever been to Cleveland Bagel, they load you up with schmear, and the bagels are hot, fresh, and chewy. I guess that's what I was expecting. I'd probably come back for the coffee, but probably not until it's fully opened. Waiting outside for 20 minutes for a quick stop kind of defeats the purpose.
Really lovely atmosphere with great coffee. Good places to study and lovely staff. I really wanted a latte when I was visiting Oberlin, and personally, I'm very picky when it comes to lattes, but they totally exceeded my expectations. Hot coffee, lots of foam, rich cream, and a good ratio of milk, all working together in a perfect mug of coffee contentment. Definitely going again if ever I'm in Oberlin
Really good espresso, I love Cleveland bagels and they serve the bagels with their own toppings instead of the regular schemers. Cozy atmosphere. However take note they open at 9 during the summer. Manager has tried to update but apparently google doesnβt believe her.
