Charming small town cafe with yummy soup, salad and sandwiches. This is a perfect spot for a lunch date or a coffee and snack! The staff was friendly, the tables and restroom were clean and it is kid friendly. There are three steps up to the front door, so it may be difficult to access with a wheelchair. They also have Hemisphere coffee and gifts and decor for sale.

Cute coffee/shop with amicable and helpful staff. I came looking for Raw honey and decided to try a coffee as well, which turned out to be an excellent choice. The coffee they serve here is well balanced; it's definitely worth picking up a bag to take home. The interior is clean with ample seating and a contemporary country aesthetic. Big broad windows on this corner shop let in ample sunlight, making this a wonderful place to either relax with friends or spend time reading and relaxing by yourself.

My sister and I stopped in for a quick coffee and were greeted by a friendly staff member who helped us navigate the coffee and food menus. Everything was wonderful!! We’ll be back for some of their yummy lunch items! Soups look amazing!!!

Stopped on day trip. Very pleasantly surprised. Cheesy chicken tortilla soup was very good, hot ham and swiss and the chicken salad on croissant topped off with a maple pecan scone made this a wonderful lunch. Very friendly staff. Anytime you are near Mechanicsburg stop in and enjoy.

My fiancée and I just moved to the area and were looking for a nice place to get coffee and a bite to eat. Simple Comforts meets all expectations and more. Their coffee is absolutely delicious, and they have a wide variety of flavors and ways to take your coffee, including non-dairy options. We each had a grilled sandwich for lunch which were both amazing. They also have a variety of sweets from their bakery. On top of it all, they are very kind, friendly people who make you feel as if you’re at home, even on the first visit. The building itself is gorgeous - built in the mid-1800s with large windows giving tons of natural light. The building was also part of the Underground Railroad and was a hotel in its early days! There are also lots of locally made products like clothing, toys, and home decor available for sale. All in all our experience was an 11/10 and we plan on frequenting this place as much as possible!
