If you live in Lima you know Pat's lol. Donuts almost melt in your hand. Made fresh on site and they have many other options for food that makes it feel like your grandma's kitchen. Also being open 24/7 you couldn't get better. Lastly, the feed my pups donut holes whenever we go there.

I ordered a pizza at 8pm. Pepperoni and cheese. Came in 45 minutes later. I was the only person in the place. No pizza. Nope. No pizza. They forgot to make it. They. Forgot. High school kid with red hair gives me an attitude for NOT making my pizza. I'm gone. I'll never go back. At least I remembered to write a one star review on Google even though they forgot to make my pizza. "Pat" you need to work on the quality of your staff so they remember to make things. Like my pizza that I never got. Giving a wonderlic test during job interviews to qualify to work there isn't enough. I'll never go back and if you're reading this one star review, neither should you.

And "bringing it to our attention?". How would you suggest? They didn't answer the phone after I left the place (with no pizza after I called 45 minutes before) after calling five times asking for a manager. Evidently they couldn't answer the phone either. Or they forgot to answer the phone like they forgot to make my pizza. And who was the manager that night? How much more of bringing to your attention should I do besides calling afterwards, with no pizza after initially calling 45 minutes before, and no one picking up the phone in an empty store? Well, a Google review should do the trick. Like I said, I'll never go back and if someone else is reading this one star review, neither should you.

There donuts are good but the last ones I got were completely stale. Makes me mad when you spend almost 8 dollars for 5 donuts and they are so old. The donuts delivered to st.ritas from pats are always fresh. Donuts on elida rd were stale step up your game!!

Lots of inconsistency. Sometimes pretty good other times the donuts are over-fried with wrong texture/thickness of dough, icing and fillings. That said the kettle tart is pretty unique and rather good.

They have the best donuts in town, but skip on the pizza! I've been coming to Pats since I was a child. The donuts and ice cream are great! The bacon make donut especially - absolutely amazing! The Cronuts and filled sticks are also excellent.

The pizza, on the other hand, was terrible the one time that I had it. The saying goes that there is no such thing as bad pizza, but I had some at Pats.

Bottom line: get your donuts here, for sure. Go elsewhere for pizza.

I drive across town to pick up Pats Donuts & Kreme pizza on Elida road, because the pizza is usually amazing. Tonight after opening my pizza I realized my 9” pizza that should of had pepperoni, sausage, green olives and mushrooms was only a cheese pizza. I called the store and was called a liar (I’m the one that made those and all the ingredients was on it) so I drove across town to prove the pizza wasn’t correct. When I gave them the pizza the excuse was (oh the pizzas must have gotten switched sorry) they offered to make me the correct one for free or reimburse my money. Really it’s not free when you make me the correct pizza that I already paid for. Customer service is the “in the pits”

Pros: Small business, Open 24/7, The cream & tart donut was awesome, and the portion sizes are generous, thanks!

Cons:
-The chocolate chip cookie was kind of flat and bland (probably would taste better with ice cream.)
-The bear claw donut's filling is way too sweet, and it is way too big for 1 serving. It's would be best sliced into small pieces and served with some butter coffee or espresso to balance out the overwhelming sugar load.
-They don't take mobile pay - must present a physical credit card.

Quality of donuts has dropped significantly. They want to blame supply chain issues but the fact is that their donuts are always overdone. No one was wearing a mask in the store (including employees). Guess they don't care much about the safety and well-being of their Lima customers.

I mean, I wouldn't buy food from someone who 1-doesn't understand how supply chains work and 2- has an apparent inability to source yeast from anywhere else (everyone else is baking, so what's the deal)? Maybe they should inform themselves of how an economy works? Instead, they resort to infantile insults and poor grammar. Yikes.

Perhaps they need to hire a few more people. People in the shop were in & out quicker than the drive thru waited awhile
