Caffeine Lakewood

My eggs were discolored and smelled horrible, almost got sick from the first bite. The bananas in my boyfriends crepes were nearly black and slimy. We called the restaurant to let them know someone clearly was not watching out for quality when sending the orders out (we’ve both worked in restaurants, we know how important that is) when we talked to the “manager”, we told him that we didn’t even want refunded or anything like that we just didn’t want anyone else getting sick, and once we said that you could hear it in his voice that he didn’t care anymore about what we had to say. The coffee was delicious- but don’t eat here unless you feel like throwing it all up in 30 seconds and being talked down-to by 20 year old with an un-justified, over-inflated ego.

This place is honestly great. I work in the same building as them so it’s really nice to get a really good cup of coffee close. And their coffee is REALLY good.

Had the lavender latte here today and it was too die for! Only 2 people working while the store was pretty busy and they were killing it. Such a pleasant experience to be around people who show kindness even under pressure! 10/10 would recommend.

So cute and the coffee is amazing! Employees are also very friendly and helpful.

I really want to give this place a 5 star ⭐️ but unfortunately a handful of times I have gone to pick up an order of their avocado toast they are OUT. I understand it happens but after waiting in line for a few minutes I was told once again they were out. I’d at least recommend putting a sign up of out of stock menu items as to not waste anyones time in the future.

The Twix latte was good.
Cold brew was easily the most bitter and undrinkable batch I have ever had. I never add sugar or cream to mine but even adding those made it terrible. It was like someone made coffee out of burnt caramel. I had to throw it out. It was sad.

Coffee ok, but the ham and cheese sandwich was really bad. Ham, cheese and tomato from the freezer to a croissant.

First time. My roasted chicken croissant was very good and wife said her crepe was delicious. We both enjoyed our coffees, my drip and her cappuccino. Atmosphere is great like everyone else said. Modern but still very inviting and comfortable. Nice walking distance. We'll be back.

Caffeine has the coolest hang-out space. Their coffee is great. And I have to especially compliment them on their food! Today I had a salmon croissant sandwich, and it was legit!! Incredible taste, they don't skimp on ingredients, and the quality comes through in every bite! Thanks for making such a great European style coffee shop in Cleveland with amazing food choices.

Just WOW!! Unsure at first, like any new place, but it was amazing! The atmosphere is really cool, but the menu even tho small, is the true star! The croissants were awesome, and after seeing it in person, we will definitely be back to try the ice cream in a waffle puff! It is picture worthy!! Places don’t seem to last very long in this stretch, but hopefully these guys are here to stay!! It will for sure be in the rotation of our favorite coffee spots!
