Addicted Coffee Bar - Lakewood

Spoke to one of the managers days before my trip to plan to come there. Known highly for their nitro infused ice cream drink I drove 1.5 hours from where I live specifically to come to this place. I get there and they have been out for hours of the nitro cold brew. Even worse the cashier didn’t seem to care less and was more concerned about talking to a friend she had there hanging out. I left without buying anything and won’t be back.

We went here to try their shakes that look a lot better in photos vs real life. We ordered two, took quite a while but when we got them, they were drenched in whipped cream. Highly disappointing & honestly, they didn't taste very good.
The kicker to our visit was when our 7 year old needed to use the bathroom. We were told they don't have one even though we watched them let a different kid into the basement where there employee bathroom is. What food establishment doesn't have a bathroom?!
When we were on our way out, I don't know if it was owner or manager or whoever but he was incredibly rude to us about them not having a bathroom & literally YELLED at us. You're welcome for the business!
WILL NEVER RETURN.

Took my fam their the other day for a different experience. Was not what we thought was going to be. 90% of the shake was whipped cream and hardly any shake for being a 20oz shake that we got.

Ma and pa place. One of smaller coffee / ice cream shops around.

Pros: tasty ice cream, good cappuccino
Cons: long wait as they don't have a really good expediting process. Got a milkshake that was disappointing - was really peanut butter flavored milk.
Overall: recommend as a coffee shop, not so much for ice cream/milkshakes

I stopped in today and finally tried this place! I got there coconut caramel latte that was on special and added a scoop of butter pecan ice cream to it. It was probably more sugar than I've had in months but well worth it! So delicious and I'm talking at about a hundred miles per hour right now. Haha I was pleased to find that they have breakfast burrito makings, snacks including healthy salads, ice cream, coffee bar and shaved ice. Totally going back as I passed this place on the way to work every morning.

This is a fantastic place. They make great desserts! Also the service there is great. It’s a great place to take your family on there birthdays or just for fun or if it’s a hot summer day and you want something good I recommend you check this place out!

What a great little place this is! The service and the food were excellent! I'm giving 4/5 because of the lack if places to sit and enjoy (3 tables and a couple if stools at the bar) and the lack if flow the whole set up had. You have to fight your way though people to the back of the store to order and then everyone is crammed in a super tiny area to wait for the delectables.

That being said, their milkshakes are INCREDIBLE! I originally was quite disappointed because I have food allergies and due to the large amount of nut products everywhere, I assumed I wouldn't be able to enjoy anything. One of the employees spoke up and not only sanitized and area, she sanitized utinsels, and then opened a brand new tub if ice cream so that there was no fear of cross contamination. They have Hawaiian shaved ice in the summer and there is a rumor they will be I side the newly opened Meiijer by me. I sure hope so!

I was expecting basic cup of coffee, but this was rich and flavorful. The owner was a joy to chat with. I ordered the dark roast and also enjoyed a few samples of the ice cream. When I'm back in town, will definitely stop back!

I like Mocha and I've tasted Mocha' from other places theirs was so good.
