Addicted Coffee Bar - Lakewood

Great coffee. Smooth flavor profile compared to some of the 'juicy' coffees of most independent places and not as burnt as Starbucks. Would probably go great with some of ice cream. Don't let the dark interior dissuade you from giving them a shot.

Fitting with the dynamic of Lakewood, Addicted is a great spot for a cup of coffee or a sweet dessert: their coffee is excellent, and their milkshakes are also delicious! Whether you are sitting in the trendy, pleasant shop or taking your coffee/milkshake to go, you will be exceptionally glad with your purchase at Addicted! Take the time to support the local business, and I assure you that you will enjoy yourself: friendly employees, a dynamic shop and area, and delicious coffee/milkshakes!

Side note: definitely ask to try their cold brew!

The staff was very friendly here. There were no labels on any of the ice cream flavors. The place was filthy. There were coffee grounds everywhere, the counters were all sticky, the utility sinks were overflowing with dirty water and dishes, the card reader wasn’t really working. Ordered a coffee shake, it tasted like milk. The place is really rundown. I’d heard good things but I definitely won’t be returning.

So like what’s better than birthday cake 🎂 for a 10 year old...this place.

Here is the thing though....I recommend...no strongly suggest having their shakes at this place with at least 3-4 people to share. I personally am not wasting food for gluttony. But a friend said she took her monstrosity of a crazy thing home when she visited. And here is the strange but good thing (probably purposeful) the ice cream or shake is not super sweet just the items on top!

The owner was amazing! He let our kids come in the back to make their sundaes. I would rate this place a ten if I could! The sundaes were great and he let me try the coconut avalanche which was to die for! Thank you!

I’ve been happily patronizing this small business since it opened and I plan on continuing to do so. It’s a fantastic place, great coffee and ice cream, with some great specialties that make it unique to any other coffee shop. The staff and the owner are always smiling, extremely friendly, and more then helpful.

Try the Carmel Iced Macchiato! My favorite!

Been going there for a while,but lately they have gotten busy.
Basic ice cream flavors nothing special.
Took them 15 minutes to make a milk shake and that was after I waited in line. And was not good. Not even mixed up thoroughly.Poor service .
Hey owner hire more workers or train them to be efficient.

Doesn't really serve coffee - mostly serves sugary milky beverages and ice cream. If you do drink something from their lactose/sucrose bar with espresso in it, be warned: they have no bathrooms. Want real coffee? Any other coffee place in Lakewood will do: Good Kind, Roots, Rising Star...

Wow~ the vegan cookies n cream was doooopppeeeee! 10/10

I stopped in with a friend this evening and the first thing we noticed was the mess. The customer area and the prep space behind the counters was so dirty. Milk left sitting out, a customer's lost handbag placed on what appeared to be a food prep counter, stuff piled everywhere, dust all over the bags of coffee and tumblers out for sale, food splatters on the walls, chairs, floors, trash receptacles etc. The employees working weren't friendly or very professional. Very sloppily dressed -- one girl was wearing open toe shoes behind the counter. The young guy working this evening dropped a couple F-bombs. It didn't appear that any of them washed their hands before handling food, including the girl wearing sandals who had been outside painting a bench.
The ice cream itself was pretty disappointing, which was the least of our concerns.
