River Road Coffeehouse

Very friendly staff, great coffee (cafe latte and house brew) and amazing chicken salad!! We had the croissant and foccacia - it was delicious! They even let me sample a small bite of the chicken salad before buying.

Wonderful coffee, very hot. Mocha had very good flavor, head and shoulders beyond Starbucks quality. Staff very friendly but inattentive to business. Another customer had to point out who was next to employee. We all had been waiting while employee had personal conversation w another customer. Came on recommendation of Buxton Inn.

A really nice coffee shop with an excellent vibe. Laid back and comfortable. Areas arranged for convenient conversations among small groups. It has a very large table which a lot of students use to study at. The staff is quite friendly and they also remain professional.

An honest to goodness Coffee House. Love this place! I've been here several times. The coffee drinks I've had I've loved. The coffee is poured with care; you may even find a heart in your froth. They've got hot, cold, and iced drinks. They also have various food offerings. And, free Wi-Fi for customers.

The River Road Coffeehouse features several different rooms, on two levels, with a Rustic Decor; Shelves with books, Tables with chairs, comfy seats and sofas. It's a place you can come to for a coffee to go, and is a cool place to hang out for a while; meet friends, or discover new ones. I suppose you could come to study too, if you must, this is the place to be.

You don't find too many of this type of Coffeehouse in the Columbus vicinity.

i love this place! such a nice atmosphere with. very friendly people. the coffee is super great-i’d recommend either the frozen vanilla latte with an extra shot of espresso or just their iced coffee!

Met a couple here to complete a purchase from Facebook Marketplace. The coffee was good, with attention to small details. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The atmosphere is better than most coffee shops I've visited (and I hesitate to guess just how many there have been). It's an old farmhouse with original fixtures, original scuffed wood floors, and decoration that pleasantly mixes modern and traditional. I wonder if the Denison students realize just how spoiled they are to have this gem nearby.

I used to love coming to River Road. But..... Things have changed. People aren't as friendly as they once were. Things are slower. They don't call your name when food etc is ready and there isn't room to wait at the counter area usually. So often I find my food is just sitting there getting cold and no one from RR cares.

But the most irritating... Most inflammatory thing they started doing.... When I bring in my yeti coffee mug, they measure out what the exact amount of coffee should be! When I ask them to top it off, they usually refuse! RR already charges for refills which I find irritating but not even filling my mug the extra few (literally 3-4 ounces).. That's insane.

I recommend to avoid RR coffee shop and to go somewhere else that actually appreciates your business. RR, you have lost a once very regular customer.

This is one of our favorite small, coffee shops. I love the farmhouse atmosphere...and the River Road Mocha...and the kids have always been excited to have frozen hot chocolates with whipped cream. Always friendly service and great drinks.

Neat little place. It will be better (again) once COVID restrictions come down and seating doesnt seem so strange. I got a frozen raspberry/chocolate/coffee type frozen drink. It was AWESOME! Sorry River Road...I cant remember the name if it. Fantastic though!
