River Road Coffeehouse

My original review from April 2016 - A gem. The coffee is really good. Love their up front group heads so you see your espresso being made with no surprises. A unique place for sure.

April 2018 edit - I can't believe no one has posted a picture of the espresso setup. I tell every coffee fan I meet that they have to see this unique and very cool machine. I stopped today (2 years since my last visit) and snapped a pic after ordering my drink. Hopefully it won't be another 2 years until I make it back.

Really unique local coffee shop! The environment (a converted house) was interesting and the coffee was what you'd expect. Great atmosphere and lots of space/seating (indoor and outdoor).

Staff was very adorable and sweet. I had been on the traveling for many hours. I stopped and purchased a iced macchiato with extra espresso. They used cold brew which wasn’t as strong as I liked, however I it was so delicious, I had sucked it down within 4 miles!

I've enjoyed stopping by RRCH since well before the Irish dance Academy moved from next door (@12 years).
Such a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. Plenty of seats for snuggling into with a book and a treat, as well as tables for group gatherings, greeting some laptop work done, etc.
The prices are reasonable and the food is fresh and good for a between-meal snack. The drinks are scrumptious with a wide variety of both hot and cold beverages to choose from. On my last visit, my daughter and I ended up stealing sips from each other's drink (hers was a chai latte, mine was a white mocha). Btw, the staff there has always been friendly, speedy, and accommodating.

Super dig funky little coffee shops like this. I go here about once a month to meet a friend in the area. Coffee is good, service is always friendly, and there's a ton of nooks and crannies in which to set. Nice outdoor area in the temperate months as well. And they've got a decent little food / snack selection.

Neat spot to visit! The coffee shop is settled in the main level of a old house. Perfect environment to drink coffee while catching with new or old friends. They have a combination of traditional espresso drinks and the fun sweet ones. The food overall is pretty decent with the pastry items being the best. River road is both the perfect balance between coffee and experience. Staff is personable and kind. I would easily suggest it to anyone looking for some dependable coffee.

Came here with a friend to study. A quiet atmosphere and great coffee would describe our visit. The staff was friendly and clearly knew a thing or two about coffee.
