Pettibone Coffee

I really enjoy going in here for great food and coffee. The environment is awesome and the staff is always kind and welcoming. There is also some really neat art hanging up throughout the building. Definitely worth checking it out

Pettibone is a nice looking establishment. It’s really open and spacious. I would say their specialty is coffee, with a very small breakfast/lunch menu w/ less than 10 food items combined. If you are looking for something other than coffee and tea to drink, look somewhere else because that is all they have, aside from water.

I went out of my comfort zone. For the drink, I tried a coffee drink that was called the purple haze. I can’t really recall all that was in it. It had some kind of lavender smoke, cold brew foam, and a lemon peel. The cold foam was good, but I didn’t get any lavender, but I did taste the lemon and it just left a bitter taste. I was not a fan of this drink. I also had the avocado toast which consisted of avocado mash, arugula, pickled onion, and dill atop a slice of sourdough. Adding an egg was optional. The guy assured me that they would cook the egg and not leave it runny, so I was satisfied w/ that and added the fried egg. I have to say that the sandwich was quite tasty. I appreciated that the arugula was dressed in a light vinaigrette and that the egg was already seasoned w/ a little salt and pepper. There was a nice amount of avocado on top and a nice twinge of acid from the pickled onions. Though I normally avoid it, I was forced to eat the crust of the sourdough or else I would not have been left which much bread, but I endured. Altogether it was a pretty good bite and I would order it again. Because the strawberry hibiscus muffin looked good, I also had that, but in the end was not impressed. There wasn’t much of a strawberry taste and the hibiscus left me feeling as though I was eating pumpernickel bread. All in all, Pettibone is a nice little find and worth a visit, especially if you are a coffee drinker since they grind their own beans. The prices were decent and the atmosphere is nice with really friendly staff.

While expensive, it is absolutely amazing. The staff is super friendly, the food we got was delicious, the coffee was some of the best we have ever had, and we bought a jar of honey and it's the best honey I've ever had!

Used to be fantastic atmosphere but now its overcrowded, loud, and they will no longer bring milk to your table with the coffee. They rudely inform you to carry your cup of coffee across the incredibly crowded dining area to serve yourself from a tiny pitcher that is usually empty. Very disappointed with the decline in customer service, if you like this style of coffee shop service then save your money and go to S-. Coffee at pettibone is better by far but, the atmosphere is no longer welcoming so not much point in going.

Great shop, they seem to know beans, roasting and brewing. Also a great ambiance to chill. Will definitely be returning for more pour overs. Coffee snobs who know how bad "bux" is will be appeased here!

Great atmosphere and an even better Chai.

First time here and it has been fantastic! The barista was very informative and helped navigate us around their amazing coffee selection. The Botanist is TO DIE FOR, you should try it. The unwashed coffee from Ethiopa has a back taste of blueberry. The scones, Lordt A-Mighty, the scones make my Welsh blood dance! 15/10 will always recommend.
