I’ll start by saying the person working was very apologetic about the wait I honestly don’t think she started cooking until I arrived . However I am Very upset with the quality of food and service received . I was recommended this place by my brother . The wait was extremely long I had to call several times just to see when my order would be done (25 minutes after The time frame given) I sat in my car because the door was locked (which I gave the benefit of the doubt maybe she was working alone . Perfectly fine) my Sambussas were burnt . I ordered three orders of the veggie platter and the only part that seemed flavored enough was the cabbage/potatoes however I bit into a raw potato .my brother tasted it and said it has never been like that before and that maybe it wasn’t the same cook he had been used to but I will not be testing that theory . 30 minute drive and 50+ dollars wasted

This was my first experience with Ethiopian food and it was great. They've done a good job with the interior and made it a nice atmosphere. The food was really good and quite distinct from the standard westernized food you usually come across. The staff was very friendly. I definitely recommend Nanyea, try it at least once.

This was such a good experience! I had never tried Ethiopian food before. It was delicious! I went with two other people and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! They are very good about asking what level of spiciness you prefer. I recommend giving this a try!

The food here is amazing. The service is also always great, would highly recommend if you're interested in Ethiopian food here in the Dayton area.

The inside is beautifully decorated with Ethiopian art , the decor is so welcoming, I just love it! We went on Saturday night around 7:30pm and I was SO pleased to see that it was a full house. The space isn't huge but it's large enough to fit several families and smaller groups. My fiance and I sat at the bar and that was so lovely and comfortable as well.

The food here is SO freaking good!! Our waitress was super nice and made sure we had an authentic Ethiopian food experience! The atmosphere here is nice and warm and it smells divine in the place, but it is tiny inside! So make sure you try to go at a not busy time or call ahead or be ok with waiting or getting take out! It's so worth it though!

This is a great little restaurant and it's open Tuesday through Sunday. The experience is such a wonderful learning adventure. 1. The food is incredible. 2. The hospitality is great. 3. The cost is reasonable and 4. The experience is unforgettable...learning all about the Ethiopian culture was priceless.

The service was great and the food even better than I’d hoped. We were a little bit disappointed that they didn’t have the dining room open, but so thankful they are staying open for carry-out to bring this delightful cultural experience to Dayton. The coffee was great even in a to-go cup, I can’t wait until the restrictions are lifted and I can go back to have the full experience!
