Pelican Coffee House

I went in today to get lunch with my parents (they always talk about pelican)it's their "favorite place to go to in bucyrus".
I ended up trying the Mac and Cheese bowl, I am a connoisseur of the cheesy goodness of that which is mac...and it was one of my top 3.. I definitely recommend trying the macaroni and cheese 🧀 🤌🫰

Triple White Out (their signature drink) was good. Coffee was too watered down and didn't taste very good. Informed them that coffee was really weak, but not sure if they made a new batch afterward.

Coffee wasn't great. Their housebound was weak and had a floral,fruity flavor. Wasn't rich and full bodied like I expected.

The service is great here! Really nice ladies . On one of our smoothies they had extra they made a little drink for our 2yr old daughter.The coffee and smoothies are really satisfying. The triple white out is my go to drink from here. I've tried many of the drinks and they are all great. Definitely the best coffee in town hand down.

Great coffee and so many different flavor choices!

I would not recommend this place. I love the coffee and the food, but every time I order, I feel like I’m just an inconvenience. I’m a waitress, so I know how customers should be treated. I also know that some days aren’t so easy. But after this last time, I will not be giving my business there, and encourage others not to either. There were four workers, no one said have a nice day, no one smiled. Our food was set on a bag for us to bag up ourselves, no thank you. Nothing. Very disappointed.

Coffee and food is good here but service not so much. Sometimes we get lucky and they are pleasant and pseudo-friendly. One day last week my daughter and I went there for coffee before bible study. We got there at 5:53 pm. The sign said open. Their website said until 6 pm. When we walked in the girl behind the counter was walking towards the back and turned around and saw us and she rolled her eyes and sighed heavily and kept walking towards the back. My daughter and I looked at each other and was like don’t they close at six? So we decided to go ahead and leave. I thought that if a business is open until six and a customer comes in at 5:53 They should still serve you but apparently not this place. That’s very unfortunate because I’ve been a customer of the pelican since they first opened. That’s not the first time we’ve experienced the employees being somewhat rude and unwelcoming. Now the employees in the connecting Amish Vault are always nice and friendly.

Awesome coffee and even though I didn't get any of there food it looked delicious 😋 tons of coffee flavors to choose from.

The pelican house has good food for a great value. Good customer service. A great shop for candles, jewelry, home decor and Amish furniture. Friendly family environment.
