Atmosphere. It's kind of a trump card for me. If you've seen the pics on Yelp, you get it. Industrial, spacious, and vibe-y. The small things: Music choice = urban-indie awesome. Lighting is low and nice. Plenty o' plugs for laptop power. Table height is perfect for working on the laptop / reading.

Big open warehouse space. Great for social distancing. Great for a meeting. Great coffee. Best part us Elizabeth's Book Store. Love this place!

First came here for a ZipsInvade event for a free sandwich. The sandwich wasnt great- but who's complainging, it was free! A friend and I came back to order the chicken & waffles sandwich. The service is very slow. The sandwich was served on a cold, cheap, soggy, burnt waffle that was previously frozen. They didn't have any maple syrup and it was dry. It was a gross, chewy chicken tender and an overly fried egg. It's such a cute, quiet spot to hangout and play board games, but the food was atrocious. The coffee is meh at best and the cappuccino was extremely milky and had barely any coffee in it. To say the least, I spent 10$ and got a refund on the sandwich (6$). I will not return, but it's a shame because it has potential to be a really nice coffee spot. For a quaint place and such long wait time, you'd expect something fresh and at least partially homemade; it was quite the opposite.

Enjoyable place for coffee. Pleasant atmosphere, plenty of seating and work space. Excellent coffee drinks. Friendly service. Recommend.

I am a very tolerable customer so it takes very little to turn me off from a any restaurant, coffee shop, or any place that I have to spend my money. Let me preface this by saying that, I don't have a car. So if I am hungry I try to find places to go. I have been waiting to try Compass Coffee for about a week. So I order it today and it came right on time. My tea was hot but that was about it. My bagels were dry and croissant was burned. How in THEE WORLD would you send food to a costumer and it's like that? If I was in your restaurant you wouldn't do it. So why treat others who are patronizing you by Uber Eats, Door Dash, or Grub Hub differently? I'm very offended and appalled by this because I know I probably spent more on my order due to delivery fees, taxes, etc then tipping the driver than a patron sitting there. I would rather not have a bagel, croissant, or tea than come here again because your establishment is not trustworthy. If I could I'd give you a negative. Hats off to people who can drive there at least you can see the quality of your food before you get it.

Entrance is in the back. Lovely open-spaced café with friendly baristas and tables that allow me to spread out and do my work. Good prices for coffee and friendly clientele that seem to all be working on improving Akron🙂.

I never ordered because their signage is poor. If your not a regular customer its rediculous.I looked around and went to order where others were standing and apparently that is where you order coffee. I asked for a sandwich and the lady says it is on the other end. Well by that time there were several people in that line. I learned after the fact you have to build your sandwich. It was quicker for me to go to McDonald's I was in and out. Also there were possible owners standing around observing this.

Stellar coffee, welcoming atmosphere, really kind staff. Worth the stop!

Update: I just found out that they do not "do" whippped cream. I am unsure why, but hot or icedm and whipped cream really do go together. The iced campfire mocha seemed like just chocolate milk.

Great atmosphere, very polite staff, excellent food and coffee.

Staff was very pleasant and helpful (willing to go out of their way just to help me get on the wifi), coffee was delicious, atmosphere was calm yet had a nice energy to it. Definitely look forward to coming back here!
