Prairie Sky Breads

I am thrilled to have this beautiful, friendly bakery open in downtown Minot! We have enjoyed Prairie Sky Breads for years as they have operated in pop-up shops around the community, but to be able to gather in their new space has been a delight. Since they have opened their doors, I have been there several times with family and friends and have been extremely happy with the service and the delicious food! Their commitment to our community is to be commended! The owners have made a point to personally visit with us and check in on our experience. A couple of my favorites are the Jalapeño Cheddar bread and any/all of their pizzas! The Jalapeño Cheddar loaves make amazing grilled cheese sandwiches! The pizza crust is baked to perfection, the sauce is exquisite and the toppings are fresh. My children love the scones, cookies and caramel rolls! I love that I can enjoy a coffee, smoothie or glass of wine or beer while visiting with friends! My book club plans to make PSB our monthly meeting place!! I highly recommend this unique, local bakery! You won’t be disappointed!

I went on a recommendation from a friend since I am on a gluten free lifestyle and I just had the best scone I have ever had. It didn't even taste dry or weird. Raspberry lime scone was awesome. They have gluten free Fridays and can call to reserve bread loaves. Haven't tried that yet but I will. I was also able to look at the allergen listing for bakery goods and they are free from all top major allergies.

The pizza was fantastic. The crust was so flavorful and the texture was perfect - the toppings were just a bonus on top of a perfect crust. I took my kids back a few days later for an after-school snack. They both had caramel rolls which they quickly demolished. The place is inviting and open, and you can tell they've put a lot of thought into the space.

So much goodness here for all day. Their scones are amazing (blackberry lime and white chocolate raspberry are my favorites) plus toast specials (the goat cheese and cucumber and the avocado and bacon are so good). Their grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch are worth dreaming about and I recently had their breakfast pizza (eggs on pizza? Yes please!) for dinner. Also, the cold brew coffee is delicious, but the best thing about this place is all the great things they do for the community like their Fight February events. And this is all just in their first month - I can’t wait to see what they do for their many years to come!!

Eaten here four times since they’ve opened a month ago!I don’t even find out what’s on the pizza of the week anymore because they’re so good! Bread is outstanding- love the jalapeño!! It’s especially great for take-home to make grilled cheese! My kids beg for scones whenever we are there- or cinnamon buns- or cookies. And gluten-free options are delicious.

We enjoyed how they sold more thank just bread! They have amazing grilled cheese sandwiches Rubens pizza soups. Don’t get me started on the sweets! They also have wine, beer, coffee, espresso, and latte’s. Great variety and nice feel to the place! Great place to relax or meet up with a friend.

I cannot say enough about the great experience I had at Prairie Sky Bread.

On our short visit to Minot we were able to make two trips to the charming location. The first time we went we had Chef Steph’s homemade and absolutely delicious sausage and biscuits! I was in love!

I had to make sure to make a second trip before we left! We tried a caramel roll and some toast with butter! I was blown away and had to take home two loaves of bread with me to MN.

I know when I am in town , stopping at PSB is a must!

Love this place! Great environment, I love their food options and they make great coffee. I am so excited to have this place in Minot. Also the bread is amazing, I had to buy some to bring home after my second visit. Also the customer service is great! No complaints here.

The entrepreneurial and collaborative spirit of small business owners in Minot never ceases to amaze me, and it has been so fun to watch Prairie Sky Breads evolve over the last few years. While I don’t live in Minot anymore, I’ve been so excited to try PSB and finally had my chance last weekend. It’s worth the wait!

We tried Steph’s homemade biscuits and gravy one morning and they had the perfect amount of spice and creaminess. The servings are huge! When we went back a few days later before leaving town (couldn’t help ourselves!), we tried the toast of the day and caramel roll - both also fabulous.

The people who work at PSB clearly love food and love their community, and it shows!
