Amazing coffee and excellent values. You won't be disappointed.
I normally don't bother writing reviews but the miso mocha is so good I had to.

So happy to have a PLANT BASED coffee shop in North Asheville! 😃🌱. I had a DELICIOUS horchata latte with oat milk, seriously it felt like a hug in a cup 🥰. I was happy to see the wide variety of plant based milks they offer, including my favorite- hemp milk. I also got a pine & orange blossom muffin which was very yummy and soft 💗 good prices, friendly barista and tables/chairs outside to enjoy on a beautiful day ☀️ also happy they do call ahead and curbside pickup for busy mornings!

Stumbled upon this coffeeshop and so glad we did. All made in house and fresh baked goods daily!

I just moved to the area yesterday, and my experience at Gallivant this morning was a reminder of EXACTLY why I wanted to move to Asheville. I’m so glad this coffee shop is less than 500ft from my new house! My dad and I spent our time there chatting with the other customers, who were frequent regulars, and really connecting. The coffee and bagels were delicious. This place is pure magic ✨

This is a family run, intimate atmosphere. Everyone feels welcomed by the owner Steven and his associate Josh. Sweets and savories are baked by Steven's wife. Each day offers a slightly different array. All are vegan and marvelous. Coffee and tea selections made to order. Also gifts can be put together . The clientele is friendly and comfortable to engage in conversation. Love this place, can't wait to return.

Just went here for the first time and had a lovely experience! Nice people, delicious coffee, and beautiful pastries. One of the best bagels I have had

Superb! Tastes and textures are so rich and feels so indulgent!
Okay guys and gals, I’m not vegan. It’s not that I don’t understand the virtues it’s that I love the way my non plant based diet tastes. I frequently find vegan menus a bit lacking for my pallet.
The berry scone and chai latte stroked all the right chords. Though there is limited space to sit and work at the moment, I can’t recommend this place enough and can’t wait to come back.

This place has the most incredible coffee. I have the Forager every time I come - it's one of the highlights of coming to visit my family! It may sound strange but it tastes vaguely like the platonic ideal of a marshmallow toasted at night above flickering coals, and you should all get one. All the milk here is non-dairy, and you will not miss dairy milk at all, but you should get the oat milk when having the Forager. The ambience is also very welcoming, the decor is nice, and the bathroom is clean and well supplied.

I now come here a few mornings a week. It’s my current favorite coffee shop. Delicious drinks and snacks made in house. Steven and Jezamin are wonderful.

I have the very fortunate circumstances of briefly residing above this lovely coffee shop, while searching for a home in the beautiful NC. When my partner and I booked the Airbnb we were so excited to find out there was a coffee shop below. Not only that but it was vegan! I had high hopes that there would be at least one gluten-free tastey pastry on the menu.
We had some time to kill/work to do before a showing and decided to head down to the cafe. After I got set up I knew that I wanted to check out the menu. I was shook. Not only was there a gluten-free option, but there were 6! Six different gluten-free, vegan, plant-based, pastries to choose from. I sat down and had the hardest time deciding which to choose. If anyone could help me it was the barista! He gave me a run down of the three I was having trouble choosing from.
The GF-Peach Brown Sugar Tart was my final answer. They don’t always have it in, as it’s a rotating pastry, so I decided I’d go for that one. It looked delicious and I decided to wait until our drive to the showing until I bit into her. I’d have shared a picture of how cute it looked but there was no stopping once I began. All I could say was, “oh, my god” after my first bite, second, fourth, and sixth. It was fantastic! I couldn’t believe how tastey this tart was. I had initially been worried it would be too sweet but it was nothing of the sort. It was literally PERFECT!
I cannot wait to go back for the rest of my stay and try out all the gluten-free treats over time. Thank you to the two pastry chefs for thinking of us GFree peeps! 🤍
