Gallivant Coffee

The baristas were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful in choosing my coffee drink. There were lots of unique flavors to choose from. You can't go wrong. I was so happy to find a plant based coffee shop and not have to pay an upcharge for oat milk. The hot chocolate cookie was very good too. Very happy with my visit!

The Lox Stock sandwich with carrot lox and house-made cream cheese was delicious! I also had an empanada and a cookie. All were wonderful!

Amazing coffee shop! The syrups to the pastries are all fresh and truly made from scratch. Mad respect for the owners who clearly know how to do it right. I am so glad we found this place on our trip to Asheville.

My favorite coffee shop in NC! Gallivant is one of the only local business that I go to on a regular basis. The quality is amazing (they don't use any artificial dyes for one), the seasonal drink flavors they come up with are always unique/delicious, the staple menu is divine (try the forager), they offer a large variety of high quality pastries with varying flavors to satisfy every palate, they are committed to highly sustainable practices, the owners are great people, the staff are extremely kind, and great at what they do. Definitely check them out when you can, you will be happy you did!

With Vegan-Only options expect to go out without honey and milk products. I was a bit surprised honey wasn’t Vegan. However behind the bar, your offered some exceptional hand-crafted Vegan sweeteners. The barista offered a brewery-style tasting which I thought was unique! The beans are hand picked by owner and roasted in-town. You’ll find a bespoke-brew, but lacks the traditional cup-o-joe.

I’m so happy I found gallivant! It’s a fantastic vegan cafe. Their staff is so friendly; you can tell they care about the local economy, the environment and their customers. Vegan spinach and ricotta croissant is my favorite, you have to try it!

I was in the area and it was the closest coffee shop to me. Overall, I thought it was a really cute and welcoming spot. I don’t even know what pastry I ended up getting but I was very impressed and happy with it. I’d go back again next time I’m in Asheville.

Purple haired barista was super helpful and gave us good recommendations for trails on this rainy day. The pop tart was amazing and the muffin we got is TO DIE FOR. Coffee is out of this world, will return in the very near future for sure.

Incredible vegan pastries. Best croissant I’ve ever had (pistachio and cardamom). Love that the entire place is vegan.
