Awesome. Can't go wrong. Everything we've tried has been beyond great. Staff is wonderful. The owner is actually there - so it has that really cares vibe.

The cutest spot to stop and grab a bite to eat! My husband and I have had nothing but good experiences here. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming every time we go and the food is well priced. There is something on the menu for everyone. We are so glad they opened and look forward to trying there different specials weekly.

Easily the best restaurant in Winterville or Greenville. I can’t remember the last time I had food that tasted this good, it may seem a little pricey but for the amazing flavors and taste the food has, it’s worth every penny. I was already planning on what to get next time before I even left. This is my new go-to when I want to indulge in some amazing food.

Favorite Lunch/Breakfast spot in Winterville. Food is amazing and Service is stellar. Big fan of the ability to scan/order/pay for everything right at the table with my phone.

The food at this place is amazing. I ordered the Quesabirria open-face sandwich & it is probably the most delicious sandwich I have ever eaten. The meat is so tender and the sauce/ marinade has such a rich flavor profile. It comes with pickled onions. I don't like pickled stuff, but whatever chef Matt does to prepare them makes me want to eat them by the handful. Topping the Quesabirria sandwich with the onions exponentially increases the flavor. The Asian Slaw and the Pig Trifecta is also equally delicious. The sausage gravy and biscuits are mouthwatering but better get there early because they run out quick due to high demand. Never have I been to a restaurant where literally EVERYTHING on the menu is really really good. This place is so good it deserves to be located in its own standalone building instead of a shopping center. Owners Shaina and Matt are also awesome and very nice people. Will probably be a "regular" here

The food was fabulous! Love the spanikopita grilled cheese!! The atmosphere was so welcoming, the owners and staff were wonderful and made sure that we were well taken care of. Shaina Cole designed the front of house interior. It is absolutely gorgeous and makes you feel right at home!! Will definitely be back with family and friends!

The food at Meating Ground is truly art- no joke my favorite restaurant in the area. Attention to detail is never overlooked, personable service and AMAZING coffee and food. Super reasonable price point for the indulgent experience and meal they provide. Winterville’s hidden gem!!
