Melrose Coffee & Wine Lounge

They automatically get three stars simply for having ample parking. For some reason, most of the coffee shops in Winston really seem to struggle with it.

Other than that, the coffee is amazing and the baristas are always friendly and happy to customize an order or offer suggestions. It turns out that a dirty chai with oat milk (instead of whole) really is superior. They take their coffee seriously here and I like that about them.

It's also a good place to go if you're looking for a laid back spot to work. They have good wifi and a semi-private room with a TV in it, if you need more privacy. I'm into it.

Stopped in en route to seeing family for the holidays. This will be our go to when next in the area! Light roast pour over was really solid and super nice staff. Would love a bring your own cup discount.

5 stars for ambience: vibe= girls night out/swanky hotel lounge

5 stars for service: friendliness and knowledge were on point

2 stars for breakfast sandwiches: premade and somewhere between a gas station and Starbucks in quality

3 stars for coffee: have visited 5 different Winston coffee shops this week. This was the most bitter.

Would definitely go again to make my way through the drink menu.

Great drinks and coffee selection plus even better staff! The kindest people and the owner talked to us for quite awhile! He told us the background of the business and all of his plans and goals and you can easily tell how hard they work for their dream! Any questions you may have they are all so knowledgeable and helpful. The atmosphere is unique and a great spot to hang out! Will be back any time I’m in the area!!

I love the coffee however the young lady had no tongs when handling the food items she was just using her hands which is really unsanitary, and it led to me not buying any pastries..

This place is so cute and all of the employees are so kind and helpful!! I’ll definitely be coming back here very soon, all of their drinks and pastries are incredible!

Calming atmosphere with great coffee! The Blueberry Lavender and Fruity Pebbles Latte are both amazing!

If your looking for a place to study or just do some work on a nice comfy sofa with a hot cup of coffee this is the place! They have an awesome selection, I always get the Salted Caramel

I was looking for a place to work remotely one morning and had heard about Melrose from Instagram so decided to give it a try. The staff is very genuine and sweet, the menu was more robust than expected with great pricing and the coffee house is comfortable and beautifully decorated. If you are looking to meet up with a small group it's not the best for that as the seating can be slightly awkward with so many two-seater couches, but there is a bar area with some privacy as well as a small sitting area with larger seating.

Found this place on labor day as my regular coffee place was closed. Coffee was perfect. Noodles were good but needed more seasoning or sauce. Really enjoyed the chocolate croissant. Reasonable prices. Staff was very friendly and personable.
