Melrose Coffee & Wine Lounge

You need to stop at Melrose for good drinks, good food and an awesome vibe! My wife and I came by while leaving town and loved it. The owner walked us through the menu and helped us decide what to get. Wife had the Blueberry Lavender Latte while I had a Hot Chocolate. Wife said her latte was great and different from anything she’d ever had. For food I had the Gobbler while she had a toasted bagel with cream cheese.

Everything was awesome and the owner even chatted with us while we sat and enjoyed our breakfast. Highly recommend and thank you for a great experience!

The decoration is gorgeous and the service was amazing!!!
We got there with our camera and one of the lady told us about their private room 😊😊 we made our video with no complications!!!
ALSO THE DESSERTS ARE SO GOOD AND YOU SHOULD TRY THE MANGO REFRESHER 🥭 SOO GOOD!!! If you want to get out the house and work in a quiet place, this is the place to go!!

I stop by this place when I'm in the area. They have best Blueberry Lavender Latte ever. 50+ coffee shops and I've only found one that comes close. The space is welcoming, unique and cozy. More lounge than coffee shop. Haven't tried the wine or food yet. That's on my bucket list.

Went here for a day trip to Winston-Salem. The vibe was very sophisticated. The barristas were attentive, nice, and would go out their way for you to feel welcomed and would help recommend their best sellers. I tried their iced latte with blueberry and lavender and it was soooo good! I liked their cream cheese bagel too. Would be back on my next trip!

Great space, the vibe with music and ambiance is unbeatable. I got the pistachio latte with almond milk and it was delicious. Would definitely come back anytime I am in Winston-Salem. Their pastries are from Camino or Cheesecake by Alex. Last thing, service was amazing, you can feel the welcoming environment and that’s the most important part for me!

Happy to find this coffee shop right when I was really wanting coffee. They have an enticing menu of coffee drinks but I had the Cubano Cafe con Leche. It was fantastic. Best I’ve had outside Havana. I was a little thrown by the outside of the cafe; it looked more like a salon to me and you can’t see inside. But I’m glad I went in. It’s spacious and quiet, just a few people working on laptops. The almond danish was fresh and delicious.

There is lots of room for improvement, the coffee was not good (ordered basic latte W/ regular milk and it will always tell you the truth); froth was super bubbly and a bit burnt. I could hear the streamer screeching, which is a bad sign. I imagine it normally gets covered up by the wonderful flavor combinations they have though!

Their staff was lovely and this place has so much potential. I’ve lived in a lot of places with a strong coffee culture including Seattle, Melbourne and Italy and have been a barista, Please have staff watch videos on how to steam milk and it will make your coffee so much better!! Froth should be smooth and silky, especially whole milk. Staff offered to remake drink, but this can’t be fixed if you don’t know how.

Also note that the macarons had holes concaving in the shells, which the tell of a bad macaron (was also a pastry chef).. please see this as constructive and not just criticism!

West coast feel, very clean! My baby crawled all over the floor exploring, super soft & plush seating. Cozier than my living room and so spacious! I got a blueberry lavender latte and it’s a sweet treat, taste like a blueberry pancake 🥞

I can never get enough blueberry lavender lattes from Melrose. I've been coming here since they first opened and I tell everyone about the great lattes and atmosphere. I hosted the grand opening of my salon here. Nevin and the whole team made sure everyone had a great time and the space was beautiful. Anytime I have friends visiting from out of town I bring them to Melrose so they can experience everything Melrose has to offer.

I got the signature Vanilla Cinnamon Dolce and the Nutella pastry. My items were delicious. The atmosphere is welcoming. It gives the feel of sit and stay a while.
